I've never really enjoyed those movies too much, but maybe I'll check this one out. Since you're raving over it.

I saw recently, ''Exodus: Gods and Kings''. The special effects are far better than the script. Could have been a lot better, but if you just want to be entertained, it might work for you. The script didn't do a very good job of causing you to feel much on a spiritual or emotional level, really. It got bad ratings, I should have listened.

Hmm, I was waiting for this on Netflix but maybe I'll Vudu as it looked like my kind of flick

    Maze Runner

The Maze itself was great. The premise was a bit thin, the characters lacked the development that made Hunger Games and Divergent so good. It was a pretty long and ended up as a commercial for a sequel which I hate. That said, building a story on the age old story of The Minotaur in a future world is pretty damn cool.

Hope this isn't a spoiler but the encampment is all young men and suddenly a hot girl shows up. Then they are going to put her to death.

Ummm LOL U Wut M8? This was the least believable part of the whole thing for me.

Just watched "The Beach" a movie from 2000 starring Leonardo DiCaprio, wanted to see it mainly because it was filmed in Thailand. Anyways a decent flick if a bit goofy and at times rather depressing.

Saw 'Furious 7' a few days ago. Solid from start to finish. 10/10 movie. FOR WHAT IT IS. Not comparing it to anything else. Furious 7 itself is great.

I went to the cheap flicks to see focus last night and was overall disappointed. I cant explain any more because I don't want to ruin it for those who might see it anyway.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

    Unbreakable

With Denzell Washington and Bruce Willis, I'm not sure why I've never heard of this movie, or why it hasn't been reviewed here. Bruce is a security guard who is the lone survivor of a train crash. Turns out Bruce has survived a lot of things, in fact he can't be hurt. Denzel is a comic book guru who identifies Bruce as a superhero, and Bruce's son starts to believe as well.

The story is good, some good emotional moments, a couple of good and one great plot twist. Was surprised at the end when I saw it was an M. Knight Shamalayn film, was better than the others I've seen by him.

On Netflix and a really good waste of a couple hours if you like these 2 actors as much as I do.

Samuel L. Jackson is NICK FURY!

Saw the trailer for Ant-Man. Either it's going to be really good or incredibly stupid. Great special effects, though, and the audience's eye-view of the Thomas the Tank Engine scene got me laughing. Nice touch...which they stole from Night at the Museum. (But it's still funny)

Yep, Unbreakable is a really good movie. Too bad M. Night Shyamalamadingdong never lived up to his earlier movies. Every now and then I hear he is planning to make a sequel, but I feel like it's too late now and he would probably screw it up.

At one point I'd heard there would be two sequels: Breakable and Broken. Could have been cool...

"Wildcard" starring Jason Statham in yet another movie where he gets to beat people up and kill them but it's not as typical as a lot of his and is actually watchable and enjoyable. I give it a solid thumbs up if you enjoy seeing people get their asses kicked.

I saw that quite awhile ago, was decent enough.

Rented Interstellar and didn't even watch it, not sitting around for a 3hr space movie. Didn't know it was that long, hell I haven't seen Avatar because I don't want to sit around for that length of time.

For a movie with an obvious bias, I liked Avatar.

Watched Mr. Peabody and Sherman with my kids (3 and 5) last night. They absolutely loved it and it was actually pretty funny for me too.

Not gonna lie, seeing Han and Chewy again made me a little misty eyed. Pretty excited for this, too bad it's not out until December.

    Will do....

We didn't get to it yet as my better half wanted to finish up watching a newly released NetFlix TV series first.
She's gone this weekend so it will probably be Sunday afternoon to view it.

    A great weekend to all....
