You guys are making me think I should be buying this shield...$555 to take it home.
Anybody here be able to compare the 9mm shield to a Kahr PM9? Recoil comparison mostly. We don't rise to the occasion, we fall to our level of training.

yeah the backpack i got doesnt have a frame which is the issue
the prs just feels so awesome though. if you get an 18"-20" med contour you will probabably want the weight on the ass end
as far as the mags they kind of priced themselves out... sure, if they sold the same amount for 3X the cost, then they could recoup the costs, but who the fuk is going to pay $50 per troy mag? even if a federal mag ban happened, they could always sell them as mag refurbishing kits or something like everyone does in CApr's:
deadliftin: 475
benchin: 325
squatin (parallel): 415
squatin (below parallel): 385
incline dumbbell press: 115*8
front squat: 315
power clean: 260

I'm not sure about the Kahr, but the shield is a little snappy. More recoil than my G19, but that's to be expected from a small single stack.
I've always hated external safeties on my guns, but the shields safety doesn't bother me at all. It's easy to disengage, but with it being small an recessed, it's difficult to accidentally engage it. Hell, you have to break grip and push it up just to engage it purposefully.
