Thanks guys just making my way through it!
Back to the doctor today. Even though I have been trying to cut out caffeine I have been pounding some energy drinks here and there especially around workout time to help me power through.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

I had 2 sugar free red rains this morning. Too all of my will power to not get 2 giant sugar free NOS.
Actually creekside community centre. Tiny gym but two lifting platforms with eleiko training plates and even a women's bar I just saw yesterday. Pretty sure it was a women's bar because it felt way thinner. Weekends open 9-5 and weekdays 6:30-10.
There's quite a few people doing olympic lifting there so it gets a bit annoying, but it's $49 a month after taxes.
There is also 1 rack and also a squat stand and even a GHR Machine.
It's not amazing by any standard, but it's 3 blocks from my work and a 3 minute drive from my apartment and gets the job done.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Adrenal Fatigue & Insomnia
Soooooooooooooooooooo I really have to make sure to cut out caffeine and sugar.
Was also given a prescription for sleeping pills to try and get my body back in order.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Probably won't take these things long term after reading up on rebound insomnia and other stuff.
I cut the pill in half as well for tonight, just because I don't really like taking pills.
Still a bit annoyed I was not given other tests to at least rule out thyroid issues, but I will just try coping with adrenal fatigue for now and see how I move along.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

that sucks big time! I had sleeping disorder after a couple of personal set backs at work and family so got prescribed sleeping pills too. Be sure they work without sideeffects because for set of pills had the opposite effect on me. Eventually I got pills that actually worked and I could wake up somewhat refreshed and not too drowsy

was given Zoplicone. I took half of one last night and it didn't really work. Sort of woke up less, but I am finally just getting over the "hangover" from it. I did not feel right for the first few hours this morning and I noticed there is a lot of issues with them from what have read online. So definitely a once in a while thing.
Still would like more tests to see what my body is doing, but looks like this is taking longer than I anticipated. could still easily be sleep apnea too based on some symptoms. My regular doctor is finally back so I'll have to go in again at some point soon to figure things out.
Getting very frustrated.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Saw a link on sleep apnea and my wife said it described me to a T. So I am going to see about doing one of those sleep tests as well.
Would explain one reason the zopiclone wasn't helpful for me.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Snatches N Stuff
Just doing snatches, power snatches, and overhead squats.
Not really keeping track just wanted to get in there.
Joints were very sore today, so couldn't do a ton.
Very achy and tired.
May just focus on conditioning for a while and do madcow while trying to cut some weight.
See if I can actually make the scale move.
Hoping one of these days a doctor will actually be helpful too.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

zopiclone? are you srs? that stuff is terrible, you will get addicted and it will make you groggy for half of the next day and it's no solution. go back to the doctor and tell them to stop being lazy and run proper tests so they can make a medically supported diagnosis (adrenal fatigue currently isn't one). ffs.

I know I tried half of a pill and it fukked me up the next day without helping me at all.
Going to just go to a walk-in Friday or Saturday and ask for a sleep test and a bunch of the blood tests I have even asking for.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Wish I just knew a doctor who would give me some fuxking efra thyroid medication to see if I improve.
Stupid bc medical laws make it standard practice to not test for free T4 and T3 if TSH falls within normal ranges, even though it's been established that tsh is probably the worst numbers to go by.
Blah feel free to rant as much as you want.
When I had meningitis they couldn't figure it out for like 3 days.
Sent me home from the ER saying I just had a bad virus.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

gonna do this for a while
dropped my numbers down a bit to accommodate for how I am feeling and gives room to to progress.
2 days of 5x5 squats could be pretty intense, so I can see wednesday turning into front squats and deads being down for 3 reps instead of 5 if I go with DOH Hook Grip.
going to attempt to get a bunch of jump rope in for conditioning over the next little while too.

Yeah there will definitely be some learning with the program as I move along. Most likely I'll drop it to 3's, especially since it's sets across. It'll let me focus on speed a bit more that way too without killing myself.
I may even alternate between deads and high pulls weekly just to keep burnout at bay.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

5x5 Advanced - Week 1 - Day 1
Squat
112.5 kg(248ish lbs) 5x5
Working in kg's thanks to bumper plates today so I think my warmup sets were 40kg,60,90,100 x5 if I recall correctly.
Did a few hang power clean and RDL's as warmups during the squats.
so my power clean sets were just straight working sets today eater than ramped. 100lbs power clean really won't do anything for me.
Power Clean
60kg 4x5
Mohave a video of set 3 that I will upload later after taking the pooch to the dog park.
No dedicated bench rack at the gym so after i got home I went to my apartment gym for bench press.
Bench Press
155lbs 2x5
Supposed to ramp up to 165, but wrist are a bit funky today. Bench was obviously easy, but good to get some work in.
I walked to and from the gym so that was a 3.2km round trip walk.
Took me around 30 minutes total to get there and back.the latest and greatest in training...or whatever.

Trying to stay structured!
It's handy that I can now just walk a couple blocks from work and get in there.
3rd set of power cleans. I think my 5th was the best of the bunch.
Still for my dang arm bend, but getting better.
