So I finally decided to go back to the beginning and fix my squat technique. My knees had been bugging me lately again, so I figured if I was only going to squat 60% anyway, better to go to 30% and work my way back up. I widened my stance by just a touch over a foot. i can sit back a ton better and my knee travel is close to zero. I can tell that my inner thigh/groin muscles are going to take a bit to catch up to the new style so I will break it in slowly.

I should have worked alot harder on mobility, widened the stance some, and really concentrated on the hamstrings and hips. Instead I did everything with my lower back and now I'm ****ed for quite awhile I'm sure.

I am hoping that it is worth the time and effort. I actually have no real reason to train my squat anymore other than the fact that I love it. I squatted a mindblowing 115X5X10 today, lol

Lemme know how the fit is compared to what it says on the site. I'm interested in a pair for my elbows.

My knees measured out to 16.5 at the joint, and I got a XXL, so technically a size down. They are quite tight, and I will have some trouble getting them on when I'm sweaty, but that was the point. So I would say the sizing information is pretty spot on.

Why is it that I am pretty big but my legs are about the same size as all you 198's/220's?

In my case: Genetics + Hypertrophy work for most of my life.

i hurt my lower back, i think it may be a herniated disc. How do i go about solving this, light work or zero work til its better.

So I was helping my dad with some work today. Had to install some surveillance cameras in a parking garage and set up the software so it records on a certain schedule. Some lady came into the garage to go to the gym but her SUV was "too big" to fit in a spot with all the other cars. So my dad told her to go to the top floor where there will be a bunch of empty spaces she can fit in. She said she is scared to go up there and left. I guess her workout wasn't very important.

So, the first time ripping a callous off while deadlifting is an experience. How the fuark do you get it to stop bleeding? Direct pressure isn't helping.

Hasn't happened to me in a few years, but I just doused it with neosporin and go to sleep with my hand kind of closed...should be done bleedin by the time you wake up.

it's covered in neosporin, with sterile gauze taped around it and I'm using a huge ball of paper towels to squeeze and apply pressure. So far, it's just soaking both. This should make work interesting tomorrow, since I have to type for a living. Good thing I have so much practice typing one-handed...

I may have clotting issues. It was also a pretty big callous. The flap of skin was aout the size of a quarter. in diameter, and pretty thick. I lost 2-3 layers of skin underneath. It may matter that I cut the flap off rather than try to fold it back over. It had folded and curled and clotted blood was causing it to stick weird.
