Emotional detachment is the best thing. I may be bitter, scorn a girl briefly but other than that no need to talk or be heavily invested.

Also one thing I notice is that many women will NEVER empathize with you when you're going through **** in your personal life regarding personal struggles, setbacks, other things, etc.
