When you originally created this thread, you were a little over 10k...no reason to lie. Not that it matters...

Thought you were done posting? Pug's responses always seem fine to me. I've always pictured him as calm and collective. He can be a smart ass but I don't see it as horrible. He does it with good taste. He gives out TONS of good info and help for free and you call him out because of how you perceive it? This is why people troll. Some people get all riled up and foaming at the mouth for petty issues.

That's just you trying to play doctor.
This forum is potentially dangerous because people will put off medical attention and just look for help online.
It is important that people who could have a real illness are not lead to believe that they can fix it by bodybuilding.
This is why people who describe symptoms of EDs or any other illnesses are told to speak to a medical professional.

LOL at these people in here. This is a BODYBUILDING website. What does EVERY successful BODYBUILDER do? They plan out meals, eat bland if they have to (Not because they HAVE to but for the sake of simplicity), and usually aren't even looking at food for pleasure but for fuel. This IS NOT an eating disorder, its a sacrifice to reach individual goals. Telling people they need more of this or that macronutrient is stupid because if you've been paying attention to how you eat generally you figure out what works best for your body. Anyone who argues otherwise is ignorant. Yates stated he only ate around 70g of fat a day and was 280lbs in the off-season. So much for your calculations.
Edit: Just stating my opinion based off this thread, not siding with anyone as I am not familiar with the nutritional forum.A Pretty Cool Guy Crew

Well I suppose people will have started developing them before finding this forum, and then this forum gives them the numbers to obsess over.
Best we can do is give valid information and highlight potentially harmful habits/obsessions.
Better they do the right thing obsessively than the wrong thing.

This is BodyBuilding.com
People who are new to working out or trying to eat healthy will most likely end up here after a google search.
After they will hit forums, then nutrition, then they will get scared and have a bad opinion about this site.- My transformation from fat to fit: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=154091841

literally everything you mentioned in that post
people go from not worrying about macros and caloric intake - to restricting non-processed foods like the plague, setting caloric counting as a first priority, avoiding social situations to hit their macros, and running on a treadmill for 45 minutes to hit their caloric needs for the day.
lol do you not see the problem with this?

That's a bit of an overstatement.
Every forum has a few posters with ****ty reputations (not saying that Pug is one of them, just saying) but that has nothing to so with the relevance of the information provided.
The majority of this forum posts solid, useful information...so no reason to group together an entire section because of personal feelings towards one poster.USMC (2009-2013)
