Thanks man!
I did all my lifts without straps and decided to give a shot at some PRs with them. I am strengthening my bitch grip. I think I could have gotten them without, but didnt try.
I did 4 sets today because thats what the program calls for. I do deviate from it time to time, but overall try to stick to itI am currently prepping for a Bodybuilding show, follow my journey :

Yeah Brad I missed that part. I start out light because you ramp up the weights to a final, heavy weight for 5 reps. My understanding is other 5x5 programs is that you use the same weight for all 5 sets...?
I started famers walks last week. I plan on implementing DL holds and farmers walks on my last workout of the week, which gives me plenty of time to recover. Last time my forearms were sore for 3 days lolI am currently prepping for a Bodybuilding show, follow my journey :

Def need to work on this bitch grip. I am noticing an increase in size. I put some pants on today, that I had bought 2 months ago and they are tight as fuk on my quads. A lot of my shirts fit really tight, as well. And.... my ab definition is going away. Whateves.

I use straps, fuddddgggee lol.
you got the system down right man. Its always great to try and work on the grip strength by doing as many raw sets as you can, however if forearm strength (or lack there of) is going to inhibit your lift, suck up the ego and strap up!

My usual gym is 24 hour fatness, yes. But I am not going there now because I am not in California. Ive been going to this LA Fitness and Golds near where I am staying and just paying for a day pass. I just grab the dumbbells and walk where along the dumbbell rack is, behind all the benches. If You walk with the heavy ones most ppl move out of your way lulz
Totally agree with you, but Ive been dancing with the idea of a power lifting meet once my numbers become more competitive. So grip strength is crucial if I want to do a meet.I am currently prepping for a Bodybuilding show, follow my journey :

NOTES: I walked into the gym to find the only squat rack in the poverty gym taken by this HUGE older Asian man. I asked to work in and he said " As long as youre not lifting any pussy weight" From then on my motivation went from 5/10 to 10/10. Bull****ted with the guy and provided a lot of great advice and wisdom. /csb. Last day in Chicago. I am going to do as much damage control to my diet as possible while on the road.

Sometimes I forget that I even quit. Like I can go days without even thinking about it. I do feel a lot better without chewing.
I do try to keep up my protein and water when derailing. I do not plan on missing a workout . I cant do a drive that long without any type of physical exercise.

Notes: Rest day. 12.5 fuking hours of driving and I feel like ****. I made it to Eastern Oklahomo. I ate MAYBE 1500 calories today.
I looked in the mirror right out of the shower, and I am not really happy with what I see. I see bloat, some fat gain, and I am loosing my leanness. I am scared to weigh myself. My numbers are improving rapidly, but I dont want to sacrifice that for a large amount of fat gain. I give this IF craze a shot and just eat at maintenance of slightly below. It seems super convenient. Ill do more research on this tomorrow.
