Second night in the gym in a row and it was a nice once. I felt pretty strong after losing 5lbs on vacation.
Not sure what I will do tonight. I am going to look over my lifting schedule at Layne's camp so I can be ready to go.

Luckily for me I had rehabbed my metabolism long enough that my carbs were over 400. The issue i have on vacation is eating enough for all the activity we get in. The resort was huge so we probably walked a few miles each day just enjoying things. Then the food at the resort was really good, all grilled meats, fish and veggies. I am not a huge drinker so that didn't add up and I guess I just under ate for the most part.

The food at the resort was all grilled and well prepared. I ate high protein meals with some carbs at each meal. The issue with me losing weight was more that I had been eating so much food at home that I just couldn't keep up that pace. The food prep at our resort was very nice and very little was fried. The other thing about the resort was the sheer size so it was a 5-10 minute walk anywhere, throw in some swimming, the gym, longer walks on the beach and I was probably in a slight deficit.
Mexican food in Mexico is much lower calorie than our version, they don't put cheese on anything and the meats are not so fatty.

Shoulders, Arms, Traps
HS Shoulder Press
Side Lateral DB Raise
HS Preacher Curl
Barbell Shrugs
Hammer Curls
Tricep Extensions
Leg Curl
Tricep Press
Leg Press
The big focus was on shoulders and arms but I threw in a few sets at the end for legs since I am hitting legs on Friday at the camp and didn't want to do nothing. I always feel better when I do a few sets just to get a slight pump and some blood flow.
Today I leave for the Camp early in the afternoon. Prior to that I have my MRI meeting at the Dr's office to find out what he thinks is going on.
Overall should be another amazing weekend. I will be getting plenty of footage to share and I will take lots of pictures for instagram and twitter. @PaulReveliaContest Prep Coach

EPIC camp.... such a great collection of knowledge and success there, both in and out of the bodybuilding world. Good to hear the MRI didn't show anything serious! Also, WTF at Layne pulling 675 for a triple........ I foresee some DL records being broken very soon! Also good to see Berto hit the 600+ pull he's been chasing

Yes it was amazing watching them deadlift, I had to deadlift again for the 2nd time in 3 days lol.
My goal is now to pull 600 at the camp next year! So awesome seeing all they monsters get their lifts.
Try being there, we could have moved a house.
So many things I took away. Nutrition and Training can always be better. Right now I am putting together a program to ensure I am always varying my periodization to ensure my volume and other variables are leading to growth and strength.
The video introduction was something I worked with a designer on, I could not create that myself. However I have not had time to learn the iMac video editing just yet. There were all done on Windows Movie Maker. I am getting a better camera and going to be using iMovie soon though. As in this weekend perhaps.Contest Prep Coach

After 4 consecutive days of hitting it hard I took a night off from all activity. Instead I stayed home and prepared food for the rest of the week. I got some work done for Pro Physique and I booked a trip up to North Carolina to see Marc Lobliner and drive with him to Virginia to judge an ANBF Bodybuilding show on July 20th. If anyone is in that area come out and support Natural Bodybuilding and see some great people. I believe Philip Ricardo will also be there as well.
Here is the show.

Besides that I am starting a new program devoted to becoming a deadlift and bench beast. No more fighting with my body on squats. I am going to continue to focus on getting better through some therapy, foam rolling and whatever it takes but I also need to start building some more muscle for the stage in 2014\15.Contest Prep Coach

Big night in the gym with an Aussie who is in town for Layne's camp. Evan Godbee was probably the shock of the camp as he is just immense in size. He is tall and dense which is pretty rare in the sport. He has legs where his arms should be and the rest of him follows suit. Misty and I met him and another Aussie, Hannah for a workout. Evan and I did some chest and biceps in true bro style. Our pressing was very comprable, Evan being slightly stronger. When it came to biceps there was nothing close about it. I curled the 60's, Evan did the 75's....and it went like that on the rest of the sets. The good news is I got some good footage of our session which I will put together after I get some more footage when they all come over for dinner tonight.
Here is what we did.
Flat Bench 3x5
Incline DB Press 3x8
Flat HS press 3x10
Cable Flyes 3x10-15 last set drop
Standing DB Curls 3x8
Hammer Curls 3x8
HS Preacher Curls 3x4-10 last set drop
Here is an old picture of Evan.

So it's not just me who felt like a little boy when standing next to Evan. His arms, still can't comprehend.
