That sounds much better, IMO. Give it a shot for a couple weeks and make adjustments as needed. At your BF%, around 1-2lbs per week lost should be good.

Be consistent with it, and remember that it takes time. Everybody wants quick results.. but the reality is that it didn't (fat) appear in one day, and it won't all come off in one day either.

The new plan sounds very good and structured though, so like I said just be consistent with it for a couple weeks and see how things play out.

Don't know what you are maintaining on check out the calculators and then adjust it from there. I can cut sometimes at 1600. Not always, it depends on exercise levels.

Going to start throwing in HIIT. I hope that helps. See I was thinking lower cals= lower weight. Guess I was killing my bodies metabolism more than I thought.

Yup, that's what I was trying to point out as well. They are great to use for a guideline and place to start, but you will need to see how you personally react after testing it for a couple weeks, and fine-tuning it to your body's needs.

Getting ready to start a log for MT and using BodyForge2.0 that comes in the mail today. So I will be logging my workouts and probably start a workout only log as well. Trying to do everything right this time around.

Wow. Just did my TDEE calculation, got right at 3,000 a day. Never though it would be that high. And figured on 2500 calories (15% deficit), I would need 250g carbs, 187g protein, and 83g fat. How does that sound?

The last couple weeks I've started to notice something about my body. For the last year and a half I workout almost everyday at 3:30 cause I get off work at 3, but an hour or so before I workout my veins start popping out of my skin all over the place and I feel like my body temperature is at 100 degrees. I think that my body has recognized the pattern in my daily schedule and has created a automatic pre-workout phase to help prepare itself for my workout. I thought this was interesting and was wondering if anyone else experiences this?

Really comes down to your macros. If you want to be in a deficit but feel like you can have some breathing room for eating, you do cardio to balance it out. If you think you can hit your caloric deficit by diet alone then you could skip cardio
