I had a good but busy weekend. I ate on track I had a burger Friday night, Saturday night and Sunday for lunch and dinner lol I love the 1/3 angus burgers with cheese I make. Although not an official weigh in after around 9-10 days of weigh in's being 186.6-188.0 I had a drop this morning and was 184.6 so we'll see if it sticks but either way it's the first time I am considered "normal" according to BMI in forever so I'll take it and if it sticks it will mean I hit my goal of 185 for this thread. Nice to see a change on the scale as I really have loved eating the increased calories so seeing a change plus having the benefits of more food makes it all the better.

Awesome post! Yeah don't give up my friend. That's what this thread is all about. Anyone that has been in here for awhile can tell you they had times where nothing moved on the scale. Giving up is the worst thing. You are not even stuck until you have been at the same weight for 3 weeks and if you are gaining weight you just failed to measure your calorie intake accurately is all. It really is simple math. 2 + 2 = 4 and if you get 6 one of your numbers was not 2. So many people don't have an accurate picture of their true calorie intake.
When I started this journey I read everything I could and one common thread of the successful was that they kept a journal of their food intake. Just checked myfitnesspal and I have logged 470 days in a row. And four other friends all just marked some long bouts of tracking today as well. Tracking is one thing accurate tracking is another.
You are not a failure at this VanCars. You have lost weight so you know you can do it. Consistency and determination will get you there it just takes time. Don't get discouraged come back in here often and post and we'll help you get back on track.Weighed - 281 lbs on 1/1/2012

This x1000! The only way you can fail is by giving up. Conversely there is no way to succeed without hitting a few roadblocks, it's part of the ride
You HAVE made progress, so it's just a matter of getting back into the game and keeping it up. Make this the moment where you decided you would never give up no matter what and not the point where you gave up and let all the work you put into yourself go to waste.
We've all felt like that at some point or another. The way I see it the difference between people who succeed and those who don't is not that the people who succeed haven't hit any roadblocks, it's that they didn't let those roadblocks stop them from continuing forward.
Read up on those threads, make a new plan, and be assured that we're all here to help in case you need. After all, that's what kept us going this far

Don't give up just adjust your plan. I sense you aren't really tracking calories that is the first step to really seeing what you are truly intaking on a consistent basis and from there you adjust until you get results at a decent pace. It's a marathon not a race I know tracking calories may seem like a lot of work but once you get in the habit it really doesn't take much time and you'll be amazed how close you'll be at estimating portions I can grab a hand full of chips and usually am within a gram or two of a serving. Now at your size you should be able to get solid results at first eating in the 2000-2200 calorie range with your workout routine added in you should see around a 1.5-2lb drop a week. Don't go with too high a deficit at first gradually reduce as you stall (2-3 weeks without progress).
Hope this helps and you stick with it. It's worth it man speaking from experience of being similar sized it's not just how you look but how you change as a person you learn things about yourself and become more confident.Rebooted 2/24/2015: 286 lbs

Where did you get the DAA for 25$ shipped? PM if needed. I've ran it a couple of times. Seems to boost libido, so that by itself might be worth it. My libido sometimes drops when I diet too hard. Its a balance.
Still in this.. Had a rough weekend, but not too much damage done. Hoping to hit a new low soon. Visually, this morning I am the leannest I've been in a while. Calories for today - 2200 - Did back and shoulders hypertrophy at the gym tonight. Goal is still to lose 10 lbs, but visually I am changing must faster relative to my weight. Not really sure why unless I won't need to lose 10 lbs? Well, its a goal, not too concerned about my weight. Probably going to be cutting all summer more than likely. Slow and steady seems to be my progress. 1 lb every 1-2 weeks. A bit slower than I hoped for, but as long as I am making progress I can't complain too much.Aug of 2010 - 330 lbs <--- Never Forget

Did you notice any pluses in the gym? The reviews I read on this product are pretty good. Im just looking for a little boost while cutting. Id stack it with something else but I want to try just this product first.Last edited by stingray72; 04-15-2013 at 06:50 PM.

I am not good at logging side effects. I do recall thinking it tastes bad, sour, acidic taste. Don't mix it with anything like protein powder. Kinda reminded me of lemonade.
I think I remember increased strength or vascularity. But nothing like I added 50 lbs on my bench or anything.Aug of 2010 - 330 lbs <--- Never Forget

1400 cals & 40 mins. on treadmill last night.
Today, deads & more treadmill.
Going to keep it in the 1400-1500 cal range.
Been hovering around mid 160's way too long.
Need to get into the mid 150's by memorial weekend so I can spend my summer bulking.
And when I say bulking I mean hitting macs, keeping cals around maint. and not worrying about a few beers on the golf course.

Morning... Weight was up slightly this morning.. To be expected after a whoosh, my body always retains some water after it lets it go. Also, probably didn't help I ate about 5g in sodium yesterday and upped my calories to about 2600-2700.. Took last night off at the gym, going to go tonight. Chest and arms hypertrophy.
Hope you guys are all doing well.Aug of 2010 - 330 lbs <--- Never Forget

G'morning. I've been maintaining through dietary discipline for the last six days or so, but cardio this morning gave me a mood boost. New Englander/frequent B Marathon spectator checking in. I wasn't there on Monday though.
...
I stopped by my mom's workplace yesterday and caused a small stir. People popped out of their offices to see what was going on, lol. Everyone was commenting on how tiny I was, and a few of the older women were checking out my b*tt!

^^^^^^
Jelly.
When people look at my butt it's only cause I sat in something.
1400 even yesterday. Deads & lunges.
It was late at night so I only went 20mins on treadmill but at max elevation at a good clip.
Lower body doesn't hurt. yet. But I can feel the DOMS circling like vultures.
at 168 today.
Was 170 yesterday from the weekend.
As long as I keep on with the cardio the water weight should drop significantly by friday.
