If you had real balls, you'd rock 'Chiller' as your work / email font.

I think these would be poor choices for an industry and a firm as conservative as yours seems to be. You need something more traditional, like Comic Sans.

I'm a huge fan of that series every year, but holy sh*t he unloaded both barrels on the Skins this year. It's magnificent.

Why? Do you dislike those fonts? We have a lot of complicated and dense material; I want to make it as easy to read as possible.

They're fine if you want to go with fonts from the mid 90s.


If you want to advance your typographical prowess and use more modern fonts that are even easier to read, I'd suggest the following for starters:

Droid Serif - https://www.google.com/fonts/specimen/Droid+Serif



Adobe Garamond - https://typekit.com/fonts/adobe-garamond-pro



FF Meta Serif - http://metaserif.com/specimen/




Beyond that, doing any sort of lookup for 'serif' fonts or 'easy print reading' fonts will get you some good ones too.

I have used garamond when there have been page limitation issues, and when telling people to suck my client's dick. In fact, my use of garamond has emboldened me to see what else is out there. I just assumed the fonts most often used in books would be easier to read.

FF Meta Serif really sucks. The only good thing I can say about it is it being associated with Cicero's First Catilinarian Oration in the example there.
