my 2 cents (have both games):
as already mentioned DKC Tropical Freeze is an awesome platformer > must-buy
Mario Tennis Aces is a fun game, nothing more imo > only worth buying if you plan on playing online tournaments

Quick question regarding Fortnite.
It wants me to log in to my Nintendo account when I first bootup. This feels sketchy. Why does Epic want my Nintendo account login information?Union Strong. Workers are stronger together.
The GOP is a criminal organization who despises the middle class and working poor. Name one policy they have pushed for that increased worker pay, union strength, or worker influence in a corporation.

I just found out that super Mario party won't support pro controllers, so I'm gonna have to buy another set of joycons in addition to the 3 pro controllers I already have -_-.
Also I bought at launch and I'm pretty sure my left joycon is one of those faulty ones that disconnects so I'm gonna have to get that fixed too.

thanks for awaring me brah, never played with a single joycon and I don't intend to start with it for Mario Party now lol (also since this probably means a lot of motion control minigames which I don't like)
I always manage my eshop purchases with these prepaid cards and never had an issue with the surface coming off
the ones you get in stores here are the ones that come with the AR-card
(still says WiiU and 3DS but these are the actual cards for the Switch)+++ miscin' at work crew +++

Not sure that Hollow Knight is a game for me. Frustrating...
I have 90 hours on my play-through with Stardew Valley (Winter of year 3). Finding that daily grind of gathering crops and tending to animals always uses up most of my time in the day. Starting to get to the point that I may finally put this game on then back-burner.

Has anyone made their own makeshift Vincendo XL for the Switch?
Something like that?
Does anyone know of a decent portable monitor with an internal battery supply? I'm thinking of getting something 10+ inches, buying an additional (overpriced) dock and making my own larger portable version.
I find myself almost elusively playing standing during the week, a mix of standing and console on weekends and never handheld. I just don't care for the feel of it held.
My thought is a portable monitor with it's own internal battery supply that will power both it and the Switch and hooking the additional dock to it's back. When I play it standing I usually have access to a power outlet, but I'd only need a couple hours of internal power at the most (if that).

To me:
- I have yet to play my Switch handheld.
- During the week, I almost entirely use the switch in tabletop mode w/ a pro controller.
- On the weekends I play some on the console/tv and some tabletop mode.
Right now, for tabletop (which is what I use 70+% of the time), I've got this and it's actually pretty awesome:

I use that w/ a pro controller. Works great. Problem is: My eyes aren't the best, particularly when it comes to reading some of the small text. I'd rather have a larger tabletop mode switch, 10+ inches, if possible. I throw it in my gym bag, don't carry it around in my pocket or anything. All truth passes through three stages. so they announced the full list of NES games that come with the Online service on launch:

Dr. Mario
The Legend of Zelda
Super Mario Bros. 3
Double Dragon
River City Ransom
Ghosts’n Goblins
Tecmo Bowl

Dr. Mario and Double Dragon seem fun to play online, the others not sure lol
a NES controller is also coming to the Nintendo store, it can only be used to play NES titles through the online
in that regard $ 60 for 2 of these seems a bit much lmfao

the games are available as long as you have a subscription, so it's not like the Virtual Console (unfortunately)
I suppose you should always be able to play single-player mode, even when offline? (techbrahs: is there like an internal clock that can recognize your subscription end date when not connected to the internet?)
3 new games come out each month, this is the releaselist for 2018:
october: Solomon's Key, NES Open Tournament Golf, and Super Dodge Ball;
november: Metroid, Mighty Bomb Jack, and TwinBee;
december: Wario's Woods, Ninja Gaiden, and Adventures of Lolo.+++ miscin' at work crew +++

I have a Raspberry Pi Zero W and a Raspberry Pi 3. The RP0 cannot play anything past SNES games well at all. So I just have NES, SNES (doesn't run great), GB, GBC, MasterSystem. It also doesn't run video snaps well, so I disable those.
I also have a couple RP3 builds. I have a MotionBlue build with top rated games (removed games like Barbie, Hello Kitty, etc). This build is customized a bit more to allow custom scripts. Then I have a base RetroPie build with all games.
This is my RP0 build.
I also have a Raspberry Pi 3 setup in a custom NES case.
