I'd do it. I'm not sure if I've ever
admitted it on here before, but I guess I might as well.
I did it. Life is simpler.
And with all the crap we have to worry about every day like your existing kids, mortgage, work etc... Its always nice when you can eliminate one thing. Plus there's nothing to it. (srs) Not nearly as bad as you'd think.

You ain't kidding. My dad had a theory that I could get my wife pregnant by thinking dirty thoughts about her.
Yeah, maybe. But I also think in a mans mind, we make it a bigger deal than it really is. Like we picture slicing the whole thing open and making these big dramatic incisions lol, when it's really just a tiny little cut that feels literally like a bee sting, and I think maybe a single stitch.

I had mine done on Tuesday and did events on Saturday. It really isnt that bad at all. You get some solid sympathy and get catered to for a few days if you play it correctly. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. First time get freaky was a touch on the nervous side, but no pain or anything like that.
Pro tip: If you get it done on Valentines day, you dont have to take your wife out to dinner that night. Man did I ever hear about that one though.★cVc★

I was gonna recommend a deload, but a vacation could be just as good.
My gf's dad said he was back to work the next day....but he has a desk job about 2 miles from home.
I remember a story of a guy who had returned to work the next day and hopped right on a bulldozer and got to work. Said something about having baseballs in his pants. Not a good idea.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

When we are done I'll get snipped. We are on the fence whether we are done or not. It would be pretty awesome to not have to worry to myself about how many pills my wife missed this month..lol

Seriously considering this...
We (read, I) don't celebrate Valentine's Day as every day married to me IS Valentine's Day.
I have a desk job 8 miles from home. My brother in law drives a truck and the same thing happened to him. Back to work the next day and by the end of the day he had 2 grapefruits in his jeans
That's how my daughter got hereBetter Body Sports

Deads and Squats and Presses and Upper Back and Biceps
Front Squats
5/3/1 Style
235 x 5
265 x 3
295 x 5
*Felt strong here, but left one in the tank. Given I was deadlifting after, I didn't want to blow the wad on squats.
Deads
425 x 3 (3 sets)
Drop to 225 and hit RDLs for 17 reps.
*The goal was a bit of volume here, but not to pull with an all out effort. The drop to the RDLs was done with the purpose of training muscular endurance in the glutes/hamstrings. Hopefully this type of movement will transfer to improving the yoke and farmers runs. Gonna limit this type of thing, but wanted to get in volume today so it seemed like a good fit.
Strict Press
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
155 x 5
*Gonna stick with some higher rep work for the strict press for the time being and see how it goes.
Chest Supported Row
90 x 12 (4 sets with 60 seconds rest)
BB Curl superset with Band Pull Aparts
Bar x 20/Mini x 20 (4 sets)
*Got dat derr pump.
The goal for the day was to get some volume in and test progress on another level. I am very happy with the squats at this point, but I feel my deads are lacking and need to be the focal point. Toying with the idea of running a dead specific program, but feel that consistent heavy pulling will be the best bet. I am thinking two weeks intense and one week with volume, then repeat. The press was alright, but I need to get to a 225 strict press quickly. Today wasn't meant to push things too much as I will be hammering the triceps on Thursday.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Farmer's tan is set in nicely!
They do. The leg drive will carry over to stones and overhead really well, but they also hit the core differently and will tax the upper back as well. Back squats are still a main stay and will not be replaced, but front squats should be in a strongman training rotation.
I am pretty sore today!Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Pressing Focus with Squats
Bench Press
225 x 5
235 x 5
245 x 5
*Man my bench sucks. I may have to do it more often, lol.
Z Press
95 x 5
115 x 5
135 x 5
145 x 5
*Getting stronger here. Must be due to core strengthening. Really hit the shoulders and tris hard.
Pause Squats
275 x 5
295 x 5
315 x 5
*Pretty easy. Didn't want to get too crazy with the weight as I was feeling a bit beat up and had my training pushed back a day so I want to be able to recover for events on Saturday.
Sumo SLDLs superset with Strict One Arm DB Press
225 x 10/55 x 8 (3 sets)
Tricep Pressdowns superset with Band Pull Aparts
55 x 20/Mini x 20 (4 sets)
*Got dat derr pump again.
Felt ok today. Bench press was shaky, very shaky. I have to get use to holding the weight again. Squats went very well, but I had probably 20-30 more pounds on the squat....buuuut I wanted to go a bit lighter.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

I threw in some bench for the lulz this week and it took a few sets before my form kicked in. I need to keep it in as at least some RE work and maybe an occasional ME here and there just so I don't totally get away from it.
I do plan on doing some more powerlifting meets in the futureBetter Body Sports
