picked up a few new ones. Traded my spartan phobos out for a ratmandu. Great knife, comfortable. Sized in between the esee 4 and 6. Little concerned about the blade pattern and the tip.
Also got a ka-bar TDI straight edge neck knife and my spyderco schempp rock from the amazon sale. Liking them both. The TDI comes with an IWB belt clip sheath which is very nice. 2" blade, comfy and could be used as a karambit. The schempp rock is the first knife that I have owned in VG10 and its interesting in that it is crazy ****ing light. Almost feels like a toy compared to an equivalent sized 1095 blade. The sheath is literally worthless. I'll post up pics when I get around to it."I'm not like most girls." -most girls

What semi? I'm absolutely done after the 4 i ordered shows up today. The only 2 other knives I would consider are the recurve camp from backwoods or the 115% mountain from crosstown and I'll sell some of what I have to get those.
The RMD is a great size, comfy handle. Blade is similar to the 4 but a touch longer and the different profile. Fits very nicely in between the 4 and 6.
Still haven't gotten around to making my sheaths. All my spare time for the last 2 months has been devoted to building my son a swingset and/or clearing out some of the woods by my house. Getting close to done on both of those though so I'm hoping to have something done here in the next few weeks. Anyone else try their hand at it yet?"I'm not like most girls." -most girls

I thought about getting one from him but they are pricy as fock and I wanna see how my attempts work out first.
On a related note Howes knife shop is liquidating all of their ESEE knives. 43 for a candiru shipped. 58 with scales. Some other good deals too.

I did, its crazy how much stuff he is wrangling to give away. Not sure if you saw his last giveaway but the guy that won the decked out esee 3 turned around and sold it on the forum. Pretty cool of him to go from that right back to another one. I'd like to get that core knife credit.
The knives above, the left one is a backwoods hunter recurve and the other one I'm not sure. May also be backwoods, looks similar enough or maybe KFU but the only name he gave it was the bukspik and I cant find that anywhere."I'm not like most girls." -most girls

Yeah...I'm not a fan of his knives really. He seems to be into selling metals lately, unsure of the background on why he's selling here at support. He's moving some BIG amounts though which is interesting to me being a trader. Knives and tangibles go hand in hand for most collectors, just thought I'd cross post really.

Anyone who is considering a candiru, howes knife shop dropped their prices to clear out the last of them. 40 for an OD candiru, the orange G10 scales are 10 each. shipping is free. I picked up an extra set of scales since this little sucker is growing on my quickly.
