Funny story about Shaw: Last year, Jared Carrabis (Barstool guy) started calling him the Mayor of Ding Dong City. Red Sox denied any part of that nickname and called him "Great White Shawk". People would tweet at them this is weird, and Great White Shawk was a cheesy AF nickname. This year they've finally come around to using it as his nickname on social media.
A story you'll most certainly hear about when the Mayor of Ding Dong City gets put in the hall of fame.

Why? The only major injury was the tear in 2010 in his first season.
