Ben and Jerrys Cheesecake Brownie - B
With such a straight forward flavor could it be possible to get it wrong? First time I had this I had in mind exactly how I thought it was going to taste. It was almost as if it was going to taste exactly how I wanted it to but unfortunately such is not the case. First bite in I'm anticipating strong cheesecake flavoring from the base. Although I can distinguish it as a cheesecake ice cream I wish it was more profound. I almost had in mind it being like a literal piece of cheesecake with brownie bits smashed into a pint but the other components in the ice cream making process balance it out so it's just subtle enough to have cheesecake in the name.
What stands out most about this pint is the fact that the brownie pieces aren't the same as the ones found in other ben and jerry flavors containing brownies. (As other people who have reviewed this flavor have noted) Quite possibly the best brownie based ice cream "brownie chew gooder" completely smashes this pint as far as soft baked chocolate treats go. These pieces are good but aren't as big or as good as the other ones. They are still chewy and semi soft but just don't have the same chewy chocolate texture and taste.
For the consistency, the pint had alot of brownie pieces scattered about and that did make for the pint to have alot going for it as far as a positive review is concerned. Soon as I started approaching the center it was hard to dodge the little brownie bits even if I wanted to. Good thing I didn't want to.
All in all it's a simple flavor done well. If this pint was altered just slightly and some of the minor criticisms towards it were adhered to..it could be a solid A but for now it lands a honest to goodness B.On that getting bigger status.

Scooped B&J's Chocolate Therapy tonight after having Brooklyn Blackout. Surprised at just how much better the B&J offering was, much more generous with the chocolate pudding and the chocolate cookies were stellar per usual. I did like the stout cake pieces in the Steve's pint but there just weren't enough for my liking.

A+ The cookies were still soft. My mind was full of fuk. You need this right now.
B Pretty good but the chips weren't big enough for my liking.
Ghiradelli Midnight Reverie (All dark chocolate) + PB A+ This was the single best ice cream experience of my entire life. The ice cream was so rich and decadent it made Jeni's dark chocolate seem like fro yo. I think I got the beetus from this.
B+ This stuff was really good. I would have rated it higher if the caramel corn was crunchier.
C Meh. Overhyped.

My first Graeters Pint. I don't think I'll ever forget it.
Found this one, remembered somewhere that someone liked it.
Kind of unassuming on opening.
That's a spoonful, and it's one chunk. It wasn't even the largest chunk- that was about average.
Far and away my favorite strawberry/chocolate ice cream, and I don't say that lightly. My wife used to work at a place called sub-zero. It's like coldstone but they start with a base, add flavors and mixins, and then freeze your ice cream with liquid nitrogen. I made my own strawberry ice cream with chocolate mixins there that was amazing, but this pint kicked the crap out of that experience. I would gladly eat this pint every day for the rest of forever. It's that good. I wish I had bought two- I'm going back to see if there are any left.Total: 1578 | 633/378/633- meet bests | 645/385/660- gym bests

Fresh Baked Toll House Chipwhich with Mint Cookie Dough Ice Cream---from "The Juice Bar" in Nantucket, MA.
The ice cream flavor is actually called "Green Monstah". The ice cream is quite good, about on par with B&J mint, but not as creamy as Graeter. The cookie chipwhich was very good and basically made it so you didn't taste any of the cookie dough. The cookie dough was kind of sparse, but it really didn't matter. Make on your own? Yes! Buy? Sure. Rank: B

I ran into the same problem with Steve salty caramel. The base was very good, a solid B, but I had 3 minor specs of the salty swirl in my pint so I have no idea if it would have been better if it had the swirl or not. I was disappointed :-/. For 7 bucks at whole foods definitely not worth it. Talenti SSC was better and I paid 2.50 for the price+ the macros were better. CKC was waay better as well with dat swirl and the ridiculous amount of truffles. I hope the next pint from Steve's is better, I'll pick up another pint next time I swing by my parents place in NY but if it disappoints again I'll consider them off my list of things to try.

Good morning,
Ben and Jerrys Strawberry Cheesecake- B
By the time I got around to this flavor I had pretty much already tackled all of ben and jerrys cheesecake flavors so I wasn't expecting a complete game changer on this one. Surprisingly, strawberry cheesecake can actually hold its own pretty well.
The first bite I get is pretty solid and stiff, strangely a bit more than usual. Upon reading the pint I notice it states "strawberry cheesecake ice cream, strawberries and a (thick) graham cracker swirl" I'm not sure if the thick part really makes it any different than the usual graham cracker swirl they use but it sure seems to make it more predominant than the likes of blueberry cheesecake. It's a sweet chewy addition that pairs alongside the cheesecake base with ease. Not only does it add a variable in taste it's true in the fact it adds a thick texture. Well done indeed.
The actual ice cream itself is full of strawberry flavor and its not hard to classify it as being a strawberry based ice cream. Scattered throughout were small remnants of strawberries that added the taste of strawberry even more. About halfway through the pint it dawned on me. This flavor isn't just ok, it's actually pretty darn good and would easily say its one of BnJs underrated concoctions. While I don't always reach for a fruit themed ice cream when I'm shopping at the store, I absolutely would not mind having this again. Each piece of strawberry isn't big in size but is big enough to add taste. Consider it the seasoning of the ice cream if that makes any sense.
At the end of the pint, I wasn't craving more I was completely content. While its not the best flavor ever put out by Ben and Jerry it's definitely one of the greats that should be at least scooped once. It's a good pint to buy to share with someone. Also, this flavor does come in a small cup sized container which would be a smart decision as well for a taste test.
A solid B.On that getting bigger status.

For those who live in major cities, the Uber app (the app that hails black cars that act like taxis but are nicer and more expensive) will be doing a one day promotion where you can hail ice cream trucks. They did this last year and it was super popular. According to the email: "Demand for ice cream trucks will be very high and availability very limited. Not everyone will get ice cream " and "If you request ice cream and we can't deliver, we'll email you a coupon good for a 50% discount towards Steve's Ice Cream!" So worst case scenario you get a coupon for Steve's.
