Yeah, 2 victims and the gunmen killed himself. We got very lucky that day. From 10am to around just after noon. My daughter was there at the food court texting me about wanting to stay after the school event was done. I said no as I knew the school would no allow her to do that.

father's instinct kicked in - thank god it did man.
definitely all this^ read the full story on msnbc told by mall employee: witnessed man shot in the head, women in the chest, both died instantly (his opinion) blood everywhere with the guy who was shot in the head...pretty gruesome, and to think all of these people were there to enjoy holiday shopping, etc..

yeah I dont even know what to think. this is almost becoming a regular thing now. how is this even possible...
jesus christ! it's a damn shame. we cant even go shopping anymore because people want to take their misery out on others.
and you can tell it's anger because these crazy people always pick happy times to do it. batman premiere, christmas shopping, come on man!
yeah i rememer hearing about that story. havent heard any updates since, but it is beyond fcked up. Aside from the sadness, i cant imagine the level of disdain that the parents feel for the nanny.
my jimmies are rustled this morning. workout was terrible this morning, but if i was able to go now i bet it would be different. PRs would be set***Gender Non-Committed***

fcking got a referral from an old coworker who went back to his old company. it's huge corporation that has a lot of interesting jobs.
i emailed the corporate recruiter that he told me to email and mention his name, and he hasnt responded. I emailed the recruiter on sunday night and sent a follow up this morning. Surely he isnt ignoring me? I thought corp recruiters salivate over candidates that come in through employee referrals?
hopefully he is just busy. meanwhile, im going to focus on getting more referrals from people. unfortunately many of my friends work at engineering firms where their opportunities are miniscule.***Gender Non-Committed***

trap, just saw this http://www.examiner.com/article/murd...re-the-killing
nanny had argument with the mother the night before
and this
"“She didn’t express any remorse or shed any tears when talking about Lucia and Leo’s murders. It was rather shocking to cops because of the gruesome crime scene that Yoselyn didn’t express any emotion when speaking of the kids. Everything was just rather matter of fact.”
Man, what a sicko. I'm so glad we dropped our nanny when we did, she lied to my face about things I knew happened as I had nanny cams set up and iPhone surveillance app. This broad cried on the phone after I told her we don't need her services anymore...then called my wife and mother, and cried there too. Freak.
As much as a daycare is a rip-off and germy, i feel my baby boy is safer there with state guidelines over in my own home with one stranger.

The hard part is going back to normal life. Going back into the mall and not thinking it could happen at any moment again. Being a prior Marine/service person. I have always been set in my ways still to this very day. I never sit with my back to the entrance. I never sit on the inside of a booth when eating. I'm always people watching. It's just training that never leaves you.
But yeah, just thinking about the people that work there. Having to go back in there and try to just do their daily jobs. Then with Christmas just a few weeks away. Just a bad time right now. I wonder if all the malls nationwide now will have some kind of law enforcement on site at all times. Things like this always change the way we have freedom.US Marine Corps Vet 8 years ( 92/00 ) - Semper Fi - ★cVc★

we had our boy in a day home for the first year - was great at first but there was not enough structure there. He's in a daycare now and he loves it. They're much more educational there and treat the kids like their own. They teach them counting in other languages, letters, songs and they do crafts. So much better than just killing time in a day home all day.

wow thats just nuts!
i hear you. good points and something i will think about when it's my turn to have kids. you just cant trust people...
makes complete sense. keeps their little minds stimulated throughout the day. many kids these days are going to be so much smarter lol
the whole language thing alone blows my mind when i hear people talking about it at work
heck one of my good friends has a 3 year old who counts in 3 different languages. she did it in person and i almost died.***Gender Non-Committed***

Saw this trailer last week looks interesting will be watching it Twin
My daughter is staying at a "school" so we call it. It's a private daycare and it's been great for her. We love the lady that keeps her, she's been doing it for 18 years and have 7 kids of her own that they too and her hubby loves the kids. She's the type that teaches kids and I can tell my 13 month old is learning from there. She's saying so many words now and she started that at the age of 8 months.
Strong bulk manlet. Keep at it mang!CONQUERING BARBELL
