Every american sport discussion seems to be based on statistics. It works if you're repeating essentially the exact same action again and again eg. Baseball. And I imagine it also helps when there are so many games in a season that it is pretty much impossible for any human being to watch all of them, so the compression into a few numbers is valuable.

Sure, you are obviously speaking very biased as a Barca supporter. Correct me if i'm wrong.

- At Madrid fans and owners are very demanding meaning anything less than a la liga championship and final of the CL is considered failure.
- They were top 2 every season since he's been there
- Throughout the 3 seasons they faced arguably the best team to ever play the game in a head to head battle for every competition.
- Relative to the past 10 seasons, madrid has had more points in the last 3 seasons than the 7 prior (I havent looked this up but thats just my guess)
- they won a league title and a cup, beating THIS Barce to it twice
