To be fair, that’s Neal. Could have been blood from his twat. Also very common

Also, athletes. Standing around and jogging every minute. Also lol at calling hockey players twinks when Messi and Christiano play soccer

I'd watch soccer, if contact was allowed, and the players were able to run with the ball, maybe only passing it backwards.
What's the average size of a soccer player? Sub 200 and under 6 foot? I think that's technically the cut-off for female vs male, right?Rugby Crew

The flopping is a huge turnoff. Not all Euro sports are bad though I love watching Rugby especially 7's. NBA basketball is getting almost as bad as soccer with the constant flopping and crying to the refs and I haven't watched NFL football more than a game or two in years because of all the political bullchit and commercials. College football is still the GOAT sport to watch

I was waiting for something like this to get posted. Clearly by someone that doesn't understand how American Football is played. Football is more like chess, and offensive lineman are suppose to be as big as possible their utility isn't to run with the ball;
More to the point thats not "couch potato" fat thats Strongman/Powerlifter fat. In the odd occasion they do get the ball and its up to them to run, they will drag 3 guys behind him.
and as for the OP's question futbol is seen as a girly sport because its the first sport that most adolescent kids in America play competitively because its simple and safe. Girls generally continue to play soccer into highschool and college and boys that excel in sports go on to contact sports or baseball because if they go pro that is where the money is for professional athletes in America, and even if there is a lot of money to be made overseas playing futbol, there are very little resources or even societal support for that matter for men to go pro in futbol in the US.

Rugby sevens series is where it's at if you're looking for real manly sports.
That said, the world's biggest sport is obviously manly as well. The pace of the game nowadays and the physicality required is insane. On top of that the obvious technical and tactical skills required. Today's level of play is insane. The culture in the US is just different so they don't appreciate the sport as much. On top of that you have the loudmouth "we are the best and the only important ones" attitude so naturally you'll see that attitude as well from people here on the forum.
In the States you have ice hockey which is probably manlier. NFL and basketball are pretty lame because of the pace. Brb 15 minutes of play in a 3 hours match. Brb like seven 5min timeouts for each team during one match and three extra breaks. No surprise there's actual obese people competing in those sports. I do appreciate basketball but the pace is so low that I usually can't be bothered to sit out a complete match. Especially without company or doing something else at the same time.

Just lmao.
It's really 'manly' to sit on the bench while commercials run in the NFL and NBA. It's honestly pathetic how many breaks these guys get because of forced media timeouts. Say what you want about the diving from soccer players, but at least they're in shape. If you removed all the forced timeouts and breaks in the NFL, 3/4 of these fat fuks would be sucking down wind before the half. Don't get me started on the NBA. 3/4 of these games are players walking up the court because it doesn't even matter.
As an aside, it's painful to watch a majority of these NFL/NBA games because of the commercialization. You know soccer is in and out in ~90 minutes. NFL is so cucked by greed that 60 minutes of game time takes 180+ minutes. At least half of your viewing time in an NFL game is spent watching commercials or the bullchit stats screens that the producers throw up. It's such a breath of fresh air to watch a Saturday morning premier league game and actually see a game being played.FL IS THE GOAT STATE CREW

Yikes. You know how I know you’ve never seen elite hockey in person? No, going at a high rate of speed on blades in every direction while having to pass, stickhandle, shoot, while hitting and worrying about getting separated from your senses....no, that doesn’t require any athleticism. Running up and down a field while kicking a ball......that’s athleticism!

I admitted to not being familiar with hockey. Never knew anyone growing up who played and didnt ever really watch on TV either. I'm basing my opinion on NHL combine statistics where the bench press (I think they used to use like 155lbs on this) and vertical jump (only 2 players in 2019 cleared 24 inches) results for the top 10 performers were abysmal.
The sport requires a high degree of skill and toughness but in terms of athleticism I think its behind even baseball where centerfielders and shortstops routinely run at speeds near 20 mph and others can hit 500 ft home runs and throw 95+ mph with ease."When it comes to matters of the heart always follow your dick"
Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.

I get the same feeling watching soccer that I get watching women's sports. I respect the competitive atmosphere of it, but I just know I'm watching something 3rd rate and am generally bored to tears. Golf I don't really consider a sport, but soccer is damn close to it. If I was gay and into twinks running around a field for 2 hours I suppose I would be a fan. I just don't understand the appeal. You can run around and kick a ball into a net. OK you have decent cardio I guess. But when any of those *******s have physical contact with another player they act like 6 yr old girls flopping around in pain. I've never seen anything like it. When there are literally dozens of more masculine and entertaining sports out there to watch, I don't know why anyone would bother with soccer nowadays other than I guess a cultural thing.
