I have been a personal trainer for the last eight years training clients from all ages and back grounds. As I trained my clients I noticed that some times they failed because the mind was not on board due to lack of motivation, or emotional issues. That is when I decided that I needed to take a risk and leave working for corporate gyms so I could be the trainer my clients needed, a trainer that trained it all body mind and spirit. With that being said I became what I call a "personal life trainer".
I start with designing a program based on their goals, hypertrophy, endurance, and strength. For this contest it will be hypertrophy for me.

Body and mind go hand in hand. When one lacks in one the other will try to carry it's weight, but there is only so much stress the body can take from imbalance before a healthy state of body, and mind starts to break down. I seek to help you restore and maintain a youthful energetic body to help bring order to that imbalance, and to your life.
Each person's vision of what health is differs. Some would find that a yoga body is their idea of perfect health, while others may see a powerful muscular body as their optimal health standard. No matter what your physical goals are I will help you make progress towards those goals with diligence.
While in a state of good physical health you will find that you will stop using your body as an excuse to not live life. What if's will become a thing of the past, and maybes will become yes or no. Confidence will be restored, and life will become more lively as you gain the ability to overcome life's physical challenges!
The mind tends to stop us from what we are physically capable of. If we train the mind to support our cause the body will do any thing the mind tells it to do.below is the principal I share with my clients.
The mind is a powerful thing, but can only take so much stress before it starts to unload it onto the body. To much mental stress can cause the body to release a hormone called Cortisol which over time can cause the body to pack on abdominal fat. Weight gain and mental stress can lower your motivation and energy levels so you function in a sloth like state.
By improving your physical state we can take stress off your mind and body. Improving your body can be a source of confidence, and raise your energy levels encouraging a more outgoing and social you!
While undergoing your physical and mental transformation, I will help you find external sources of motivation. These external sources of motivation will then be turned into internal sources of motivation as I provide you with motivational coaching as we work towards your goals.
Over time you will find that the only thing that can stop you in life is yourself, and I intend on showing you how this is possible!
For the final element of how I train we approach the spirit. Below is the spirit principal I share with my clients.
The spirit can be seen as many things depending on what angle you look at it from. When I talk about spirit I am talking about the source of passion we each posses, but have difficultly unlocking at times. The internal motivation that drives us purely because we will it so. That force deep down inside us that pushes us to fight back when repressed, and stand up again after being reduced to rubble from our own personal trials.
As we undergo your transformation, I will provide you with external sources of motivation while helping you find that internal driving force. I will lend you as much of my will power that it takes to get you to that point in life where you can tap into that spring of pure driving force waiting to respond to your every desire.
By helping you unlock internal motivation, you will find that unyielding will power that only answers to one person...YOU! Once you have reached that level of internal motivation, your life is yours to create as you see fit for the only thing that can stop you in life is yourself.
Ok now for my program details. Since I am hypertrophy training I am using jay cutlers program with some modifications. I include energy work principals form the practices of the shoalin monks. These principals are flexibility training, static muscle movement, And mediation to improve focus.
Warm up of 10 minutes of low intensity cardio.
Workout program!
Three exercises of 5x5 heavy weight for target muscle group.
45 sec rests of jogging in place between sets.
Full two minute rest after 5x5 is complete.
3x10 calisthenic exorcise for target muscle group.
30 sec rest between sets.
5 minutes of static muscle movement. (Moving the muscles trained while flexed with no weight)
Stretching.
Cool down of movement meditation while using the mantra of "I am what I choose to be and I choose to be (clients goal)
