I prefer the oversized Arnold era look Yates somehow clung too. Todays bodybuilders quads are too big and no attention paid to calves and forearms which make for that rugged warrior look. Calves, neck and forearms should all be the same size, and at least 19".

Eric Spoto the world-record holder for raw bench press (722 pounds paused) , and competitive arm wrestler has 19.5 inch forearms at 330 pounds. I'd say there are very few people with forearms over 19 inches.

The guy who owns my gym had 20" forearms before he went in to hospital just over a year ago. 6'3 (or 4) and used to be 'Warrior' on the UK Gladiators show in the early 90s.
He always used to challenge everyone and say he'd give a free membership to anyone with bigger arms than his forearms lol
No one ever got a free membership.IG: waldronconstruction

Ive read a lot of Dorian earlier articles when he wrote for flex in 2002, 2003, when he described how to train back. I took this information and built a huge back. I like his philosophy on training it makes sense for the most part to me. He was a monster thats for sure and ahead of his time. and yes he compares to todays guys, in fact hes just as conditioned or moreso than the top guys today, including yes Heath
