God forbid I know a little bit about football, am aware of the other teams and players in the same conference as my own alma mater, and spend 2 seconds posting something of substance in this cesspool. Can he play running back? With the ball in his hands, sure. Except, it’s gonna be a while to master pass pro. WR? He’s caught like five passes in a game in his life. I would argue he isn't even a top 5 Michigan's own team. Ben Gedeon or Taco Charlton are flashier, Jourdan Lewis is the anchor of the defense. He quietly had a terrific season as most offenses threw the ball to whatever side he wasn't on.

In terms of Peppers being a top 5 pick, I really don't understand what you're seeing. He's a tweener that is undersized for a LB and lacks the fluidity and coverage skills of a safety. He really only projects at RB or slot receiver, and we have no idea if he can be effective running routes or blocking out of the backfield. On defense I can't seem him as anything other than a nickel corner.

The media doesn't bash harbaugh, come on. They might point out the weird **** he does because it's weird, but they love seeing Michigan do well. Harbaugh helped ESPN score the best regular season ratings for a game in years for The Game this year. That's the way to ESPN's heart.

There has to be some explanation for how Peppers finished 5th in voting. It's certainly not from his performance on the field. You can blame holding for the Samuel run but what about when he got juked out by Barrett in the open field? JT might be elusive around the pocket but he's anything but in the open field. A defensive Heisman candidate doesn't miss that tackle. So again how can we explain him being included? In 3 pages we haven't seen any support for why... just that we are haters. People have posted names of players that are significantly better on defense. He's a good returner but hasn't had a fantastic season on special teams (in part because teams are gameplanning around him). He's had a few good games on offense but in nothing more than gimmicky use. you could argue that he didn't do any better than leaving in your starters over him. His 4 carries for 4 yards against OSU really stands out.

As a Michigan fan you should be upset, too, because comparing him to Woodson or Howard is disrespectful. He will never be the player those two were.

Im not interested in making "arguments" around to a guy who was still saying harbaugh hadn't really accomplished anything by midseason of this year (when we had risen to #3 after being 5-7 in 2014). most reasonable osu fans would say, ok, harbaugh's doing decent.
