year taken?
What year were these photos taken? I researched them on the Internet, but I was unsuccessful. Also, I could not find them in any of the following Arnold books:
Arnold: The Education Of A Bodybuilder
The New Encyclopedia Of Modern Bodybuilding
Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story
This is my first post. I previewed my post before submitting it, but I was not sure if I used the photo attachment feature correctly. I will find out in a few seconds.exploring nature in the Yellowstone/Grand Teton area

Thank you for the replies.
Photo #1
I agree . . . . . 1974 . . . . . but I hope someone can confirm 100% for sure.
Photos #2 and #3
I think 1977-1978
In photo #2, isn’t Frank Zane the guy with sunglasses? The guy on the right looks like Lou Ferrigno.
For me, it’s weird to see the images of Arnold’s body in photos #2 and #3. Compared to November 1975, when he won his 6th Mr. Olympia . . . . . his body in photos #2 and #3 are so different. It’s also possible that his body just appears different because Arnold is laying down (photo #2) and sitting down (photo #3).
I suspect after his movie Stay Hungry was released in April 1976, Arnold did not do much weight training until 1979, which is when he started an 18-month training regime to prepare for the location filming of Conan The Barbarian. If he actually took a break from weekly weight training for a few years (1977-1978), he deserved it. But I am just guessing. I don’t know. I borrowed both of his autobiographies from the library, but I do not think either of the books will address this topic. It’s probably just too specific.exploring nature in the Yellowstone/Grand Teton area
