Yeah, same. Seems like the head coach is mostly going to be involved in the business/admin side of things, but the pay I'd imagine is like $50-70k tops, which is decent, but not enough after completing this much schooling.
It'd be much more lucrative to be an agent/manager for the really good players imo
We had a Vayne one game that did so bad, people starting getting toxic towards them, so they rushed GA having already built botrk, boots. I lol'd hard because they didn't just give up, they legit thought a mid-game GA was a good idea...
My desktop computer is ****ed so no more ranked until I get it fixed Silver 1 17 LP. Been a couple weeks I think. Been playing normals on my laptop (but my client dc's often) and winning easily but I need dat dere Gold border

TeamLiquid posted the pay on their application for head coach.

32k/year with food/housing covered by team
52k/year with food/housing not covered
previously said required like 70 hours a week but they took it down from a brief skim
52k/year for 70 hours a week is horrendous
It would be cool for the experience but the pay would be terrible. Maybe TSM would do better thoughMS, Computer Science

lol no wonder NA esports is so far behind. 52k/year is a complete joke. You're literally putting your life on hold if you take this job. Also requiring 5 years experience in team environments with leadership experience? If I had that kind of experience, I wouldn't be applying to this 70hr/week job that holds back future job prospects and pays 52k. I mean after taxes your bringing home like what, 30-35k?

rofl... so if you had 5 years of experience in a leadership role you'd be willing to take home only 32k (probably 20-25ish after taxes) and get stuck in a sausage fest with a bunch of 17-20 year old boys? Not to mention working 70 hour weeks? no way in hell I'd do that if I had the qualifications they wanted.

If you spent 5 years in a leadership role in league of legends, your life is already 70 hours a week of league of legends. It's not like they are going to hire anyone just because they have 5 years in a "leadership role." You basically need 5 years as a challenger coach or player in league of legends to even be considered as a candidate. If I had those qualifications I'd 100% take it. Not like I'd have anything else going for me if all I did was play league for 5 years.

A summary of my last 3 games:
1. Riven mid goes 0-4 within first 7 minutes and afks
2. Every lane dies before I even finish half of my first jungle clear(did krugs and red and that's it...)
3. ADC never connects
This game seems like it sucked a lot less around season 2/3, I actually would queue up and enjoy playing. Anymore I'm afraid to play because odds are someone on my team isn't connecting and we're fukt from the get go.XBL - SqueakyBOOTS

kha'zix on my team starts btching about me because I build essence reaver first item
proceed to check his match history after game, he is diamond 5 0 LP and on 8 game loss streak, trying to tell me how i should play. fkin lol

Hey guys anyone mind telling me why people normally don't take leesin mid? I've been doing it in normals with some success he's pretty good @ roaming ganking, and can assassinate easy if he's all AD.
Real answers only please, I don't want basic non informative answers like "He's weak" or "pros don't do it"
Pros and cons looking pretty good to me
PRO
Strong ganks
can 100-0 if ultimate is up and not behind after level 9
Lots of choices
ward hopping and being mobile in general
literally has so many more options then most champs that it puts other champs @ a disadvantage going against him
can set other teammates up as well as peel
CONS
AD mid isn't great if your top is AD
depends on ult quite abit
High skill cap/floor
if he's behind his burst can range from relatively weak to being unable to kill anyone
teammates get mad at you in champ select
can be relatively bad until level 6
If your behind and your adc sucks peeling for him won't do much
i'm gold 3 btwLast edited by Way2Cold; 10-21-2015 at 02:55 AM.

Couldn't get out of Silver(went up to Silver 2) on ADC. I just can't figure it out, the role is so freaking static, too many matches where I just spend 20 minutes in lane unable to do much, too dependent on the jungler. So I changed to jungle and it feels so much more dynamic, being able to put so much pressure on objectives, being able to make the enemy team unable to group due to split push, etc. Bot lane never again.

****ing hell man, why do people cry so much about off-meta picks? If I'm stuck with top I like going with Karma because she ****s on melees hard and can otherwise bully/farm well, and if anyone looks up my profile they'll see I'm above average with her. But I've had three dodges in a row when I had her locked in... eventually I decided to pick Gnar so others wouldn't cry, and I ended up getting dumped on by a Vi because idk how to play him. ****ing Goldies I swear.

Word of advice for you bronzies - If you don't have the mechanics to carry you out of bronze and into ~Master tier, then you don't have the mechanics to play champs like Lee Sin, or any other champ that can make "flashy" plays. I die on the inside anytime someone on my team locks in something like Lee, Yasuo, Zed, etc.... Makes the game so much harder because those bronzies could be 10-0 and will still find a way to make the game so f*cking hard with their potato mechanics.
