PMS man. I just read about how those stupid prostaglandins are apparently responsible for the cough, stomachache, nausea, and body aches I feel during PMS. I mean, I expect most of those symptoms, but the COUGH thing really gets me. I always think I'm sick but nope, just more PMS symptoms.

This would all be easier if I hadn't had amenorrhea for fully 8 years of my adult life. It's like I'm 16 and still getting over the initial annoyance.

In the way of relationships, I think it's worth it. And I've failed them all so far.

I agree with this. I had ridiculous trust issues since reform school (as I've talked about earlier I think)... but it's almost impossible to have a good relationship that way. Knock on wood, my current one seems to be knocking down my barriers somewhat, though it's terrifying as I have something to lose now. But I think a good relationship, even if ultimately it ends or even betrays your trust, allows you to better inhabit that part of yourself that can be open to others, so you can have more, better relationships in future.

Like building muscle, sometimes you have to put on some stress so you can go back and handle more. And get rewarded, ultimately.
