Youd figure after so much speculation on transfers with arsenal over the past few years to not beleive or get excited over these rumors until its officially confirmed. We all know wenger will sign some unknown joe blow in french league (sanogo) and claim is enough, but lets just hope im wrong and he signs someone proper

Francesco Totti revealed on Tuesday that he turned down an offer from Spanish giants Real Madrid in 2004, as he preferred to stay at his boyhood club Roma.
The Roma icon added he is sure that such move would have given him the chance to win top individual accolades as well as prestigious club titles but that he is happy with his choices.
“I would’ve liked to have more opportunities in my career, but I preferred to stay with Roma,” Totti told France Football on Tuesday.
“I lost so many things that I could’ve won. However, I knew what I was going into, for example the fact I have not won the Champions League.
“If I had chosen Real Madrid, I’d have won three Champions Leagues and two Ballon d’Or and who knows what else I could have won.
“Without doubt, I would’ve had more opportunities. But I am happy with my choices. The only regret is that we could’ve won two or three more Scudetti with Roma.”
Totti is a boss but not sure if serious...There is but one path....we kill them all.

Cringed hard at the Buy Higuain video.
If I could buy one striker for Arsenal it'd be Stefan Kiessling. Only Bundesliga game I watched this season was the Champions League Final but I have heard his name thrown around. This guy has more MoTM awards than Cristiano Ronaldo and scored more goals than Lewandowski.
Plays for Leverkusen and is looking to force a move away because he is 29. He is the man Fiorentina would replace Jovetic with and Dortmund are looking to replace Lewandowski with.
Has 2 years left on the contract.
Surprised he hasn't been mentioned in this thread at ALL!

I'm sure the Chelsea brahs will be pleased to hear that on my FM Leicester save they've bought my regen beastly centre back after my chairman allowed the deal to go through. 21 and got 38 caps for USA and scored 6 goals in 19 league games from corners, FUUUUUUUUUUUU

we are talking about strikers. and we are also talking about sound investments. see what ur doing is only using stats which as we all knowITT, mean fukk all. When Derdiyok was in Leverkusen he started over Keissling week in, week out. He left for Hoffenheim after a bust up in training and couldnt find form with a relegation squad.
Being 24, he is a much better investment and i think hes actually a bit better than keissling atm.
who remembers this goal?

Doesn't look like he started over Kiessling for the 2011/12 season. Kiessling (34 Apps with 28 starts and 6 subs) vs. Derdiyok (25 Apps with 11 starts and 14 subs)
I don't know why he doesn't start at Hoffenheim anymore but if he can go back to his form from 2011/12, he would be definitely be a shrewd buy compared to Jovetic, Higuain, and Kiessling.

why wouldn't people talk about the Bundesliga right after an exciting all German final?
people calling those who are talking about the Bundesliga now "hipsters" is ironic. the Bundesliga has had the spotlight of the mainstream since the semi-finals, hipsters jumped off the Bundesliga wagon at that point and are trying to remain hip by criticizing those who are still eager to talk about the Bundesliga now that the league has everyone's attention. it's a double reverse hipster trifecta - those who are criticizing those for talking about the Bundesliga are actually the trendiest, moodiest hipsters of them all but even they dont know that they're so trendy because they're so far ahead of the curve.
yeah that's hope for you. it raises unrealistic expectations that will probably never be met which results in depressive feelings of despair. having said that, at least it looks certain that we will not get weaker this transfer window as we have in recent windows (lol). nobody important is going to be sold off. with that being true (probably), and our financial situation being pretty healthy (apparently), there's a good foundation to build on this window.
inb4 Cazorla is sold to Monaco and Koscielny is sold to Bayern
