Yep, it came in on Saturday but I didn't check the mail until Sunday. All in all I'm very impressed with Sypderco and the quality they mass produce. The fit and fit of the knife are second to none and out of the box it's like a razor. It's a very big knife and might just be a little to big for EDC but only time will tell. I'm thinking seriously about buying the leatherman MUT to keep in the old range bag unless someone talks me into a better product.

the paramilitary 2 is a great design, the only thing that i would change is beefing up the lock mechanism

if either the paramilitary 2 or military gets made in a high end stainless like m390 again, i will probably get one.

a limited run of the military is coming in cruwear pretty soon. cruwear isn't stainless though, and even though i was pretty set on buying one, i thought about it and i would prefer a stainless if it is going in my pocket

the paramilitary ii in s90v is on preorder for bento box right now. that looks like a sweet combo but it is about $100 more than what i wanted to spend on a folder. especially since it just has plain blue handles. if it was a military and had carbon fiber handles for that price, i'd give it a second thought.

Anyone shot the Walther PPX yet? Held one at the gun store and really liked it, but the huge slide and the fact that its an "entry level" handgun worry me.

Held it at the gunshow this weekend. Ergos felt nice, but the thing was top heavy as fuk. Would like to actually fire one and see if it's worth recommending to a friend for his first handgun. Worst thing about gunshows is that you can't get a feel for the trigger since every gun has to be ziptied through the chamber.

I've stopped by academy when I'm with a group of people that don't need ammo and get one box per person for myself. They let me check out all at once and I end up walking out with 5-10 boxes of .223. Las time I went they had the Independence 5.56 for $7.99 for 20 rounds.
