OT, but we were talking about snuff last week and I thought I'd give my opinion on some new stuff I bought. It's Skoal X-tra "Flavorflow Pouches" in mint blend flavor.....stuff is LEGIT! It's like the pouches themselves are dipped in the mint flavor or something. You get way more juice/flavor than you would from a normal pouch.

I also got some Snus since I heard y'all talking about it. I dunno how the hell y'all are swollowing the spit from those things. Groce. I tried it and had an almost instant uneasy feeling in my gut, and I've been dipping for almost 20 years. Damn that makes me sound old lol.

I used to use those mint or crisp blend (apple) Xtra pouches. Loved them, but I quit in November. Still crave often, though.

Going to the range this morning and shooting off ~300 rounds. Was debating against it as the time could be used, but it did wonders for my sanity; so very much worth losing an hour or two.

Anyone ever have problems with your slide not locking after going empty? My personal S&W .40 MP has no problems, but the one I carry for duty which was issued to me brand new doesn't always lock which sometimes confuses me as a misfire. Could it not be broken in yet or a manufacturing error?

I'd say it is probably ammo related. If I'm shooting cheaper ammo, like blazer steel, WWB, etc. the slide on my 5.25 XDm won't always lock back. My buddy with a Sig X5 has similar problems.

IDPA is a blast, and a good test to see how you do under stress. Just dress how you normally conceal carry and use the same gear you carry too.

yea. My insiders at walmart are still shuttling me ammo under the table, but it's all been for resale, but one thing I've noticed is the rate ammo is showing up at some walmarts is really slowing down.

One thing I am noticing is the 45 ACP market is dropping off. 9mm, 22LR and 223 are still hot, but that's about it.
