SOTD : Xerjoff - Lira (2ml sample)
First real wearing, this is super nice. There's a lot going on from the citrus to the sweet and spicy but it all blends together so nicely.
Fragrantica classifies this for women, but I think it's very much unisex and not hard for a cultured man to wear. Southern slack jaw hillbillies need not apply.

Took wife to a local factory seconds/Sephora returns depot to get some of that silly Glossier -You. 'Skin smelling scent' comfort stuff that females seem to dig. 4 assorted 50ml bottles for $100.
Kinda regretting steering my wife to get high sillage stuff cuz dang some of her budding collection are room fillers on 1-2 sprays and I honestly hate stuff she vibes on. Heavy floral/old women scent stuff . Hates the stuff Id like on her like black opium, poison, interdit lol.reps for life:theheffnerr, AlphaMisc, Ancient Olympia

Her first 3 main pickups after multiple testing trips were Libre intense, coco mademoiselle and irresistible and I swear they're all almost nuclear floral stuff. Tried to get her some fresh fruity/aquatics and she just doesn't dig em. Just likes classy floral sh"t. Loves jasmine, which is barf to me lol.
Might have to divorce her. Makes me miss my ex who loved the skanky gourmand stuff.reps for life:theheffnerr, AlphaMisc, Ancient Olympia

Jomashop has Italica tester for $125 which is insane. Top 5 gourmands out there easily.Last edited by darkninja67; 02-16-2024 at 04:19 AM.

Quick comparison of Apple Brandy and OTR
Both performances are a little weak. OTR sits closer to the skin. OG Apple Brandy projects better and is heavier(if that makes sense). OTR is a little fresher and has a synthetic type vibe IMO that OG doesn’t which makes OG a lot better.
Love the Apple you get from OG. It shines through and doesn’t have as many distractions as OTR to take away from it. OTR isn’t bad and I can see why OG was discontinued because they are similar and I feel Kilian been pushing those liquors so for a niche brand I can see it being redundant.
That said OG is better imo. I just don’t like the performance. Could just be my nose too though. Wasted Moment IS pretty similar and the performance is a lot better, but there are some nuances that if you are in the cologne world may make seeking out an OG worth it.
Long story short, it’s expensive, worth it if you are a collector because it’s a gem. But if you just want an apple scent and don’t want to drop the money, wasted moment or OTR have the same heart and can do the trick
No regrets though, DJ is the man. The heaviness close to the skin is gorgeous. It’s like a scent I can enjoy myself. I love it. Don’t care if others can smell projection. Smelling it off of my chest when I get a gust of wind is intoxicating.Proof Angels exist: OzleyASMR

Helped my brothers fiance move into a new place yesterday since my bro was out of town. She gave me 100$ to macys even though I said I didn’t want anything. She didn’t take the gift card back.
I never buy full price but looks like I’ll be heading there next weekend. Reco? I’m thinking a Maison, never got my nose on them before.Proof Angels exist: OzleyASMR
