The timing's not great, but we've been putting it off and putting it off. My husband's truck is breaking down every other month, and we can't afford to keep fixing it. My vehicle, has much higher miles, but does a lot better. I'm close to 200K on my car. But I really do think it still has some life left in it. We're wanting to dump the truck, give Sexy my car since he drives much less than I do, and get something for me that can handle the 500 miles/week that I'll be putting on it.

*sigh*

As for the Excel, no, but I'm about to try it again. Wish me luck.

Awwww. I always look forward to a night away from Sexy and Jack, but more than that is a bit much.

We have some stuff around the house that fits that description. A new driveway for one. Unfortunately that will have to wait.

I feel ya. We're still recovering from my bought of unemployment. This purchase is not something I want to do, but it's that, or not have a vehicle. And since we both have a commute, that's not an option.

Ok. Have a super heavy heart from talking with my friend last night. But, dermatologist visit was good. No concerns and he's writing me an RX for the itchy spot on my leg.

No holiday this weekend (although we do have a long weekend at least once every month of the year other than March and June) Ryan has tomorrow off since he will be houred out (DOT laws for transport guys), then the weekend and he's taking Monday off since he's been gone for a week.

We're going to the lake on Saturday. Crossing my fingers it doesn't rain.

As "good" as possible, I guess. She's been married for 6 months. Found out about 3 months ago that her husband had sex with the stripper at his bachelor party 2 days before their wedding. It makes me feel sick to my stomach. Two of our friends - mutual friends of theirs, who she thought she was close to - were there watching it happen. I just can't believe it.

Yeah, she knows. She said she never wanted to bring it up to me b/c she didn't wanna open a can of worms with me, but she really needed someone to talk to. I'm glad she finally did.

Oh wow...ummm...hrmm. That whole situation is not good at all. I can't believe that his friends would have let something like that happen. Bachelor parties are the "last hoorah" but there are lines that shouldn't be crossed.
