Canadian Maple Syrup / Maple Candy / Maple Products >>>>> American ones (except maybe from some parts of Vermont).
We go to Montreal several times a year, and come back every time with a ton of food. One of my personal favorites is this "honey butter" -- one of the best things I've ever eaten.
Well, then... (veggie) sushi with mochi and green tea.

Sheldon's a physicist. His awesomeness falls apart by default. Pure Math >> Applied Math >> Theoretical Physics >> Applied Physics >> Engineering >> Mundane sh*t like finance, economics, biology etc.
While I do a lot of applied math now (finance/economics), it's nowhere close to pure math (especially something fun like topology).
I am not a religious person, but doing pure math is like understanding the language of the universe. One of the things I'd like to do when I am older is retire by 40, and go back to doing a PhD in pure math, if I am still any good at it (it's amazing how quickly you lose your faculties once you stop doing it).

Will post here to see if one of you can get this. Efficiency is .9254, I don't know how to solve for W to get Qh=w/e which is the next step. Or you could just solve and give e the answer~Murray State Crew~

I blame most of that on our educational system. Calculus is taught wrong, so is algebra. When I tell my wife how to "visualize" an equation, she looks at me like I'm batsh*t crazy. My uncle was a physicist, and that greatly helped because he taught me how algebra and geometry are complementary, and what calculus, maxima/minima etc meant in the context of actual curves, when I was young. When I was in grad school, there were 17 of us in my cohort. Of those 14 were foreign students (all were Israelis, Russians/E.Europeans, Indians, and East Asians). Furthermore, there is also less "incentive" to study something like physics. I dropped out because I wasn't willing to be in school until I was 30 and not make money, when I could be using my math skills to build financial models and make way more money (and get drunk, participate in sports, and get laid). It's unfortunate, when you really look at it.

My brain is also falling apart now. Gonna get progressively more stupid. But as long as my brain works like it does in real world problem solving and keeping myself alive, it's all good. I'll never have to matrix calculations or integral calculus every again for any reason whatsoever.
Edit: I think being able to understand that stuff when it's taught is more important than actually knowing it and retaining it. Being able to conceptualize things is a transferable skill.1175 @172
