Bwahahahaa... XD
No,silly...EFFEXOR + ABILIFY
Okay, I haven't started the Abilify yet...
No,it's "old woman strength" combined with anger, hate, and frustration.
Hate is excellent fuel for squats. Watching the marriage crumble gives me plenty of fuel.(we're working on it)
Current supplement stack:
AM:
Effexor 75mg
alpha lipoic acid 600mg
vit c 1000mg
6 grams fish oil
vit D3
vit E
multi vitamin
Noon:
magnesium 400mg
vit c 1000mg
6g fish oil
Afternoon:
magnesium 400mg
vit c 1000mg
6g fish oil
PM:
5htp 50mg
magnesium 400 mg
6g fish oil
*the 5htp/magnesium combo at night has really helped with sleep!
.....................
Okay here's the shiz on what happened with my meds.
I had been taking Cymbalta for about a yr. I was doing kinda okay but my shrink thought I should be doing better...sooooo bumped up the dose and I did good for about 3 days and then started some seriously fast rapid cycling. Seriously, I bounced daily or more. From super low and hopeless to really freaking motivated and then to extremely irritable...and never getting anything done, damn it.
So, here I am adjusting the meds again.
I also think I need to go gluten free again. Self medicating with cookies has been extremely counter productive.

Today....
Some stuff to warm up/can't remember exactly.
virtualmeet attempts:
squat
1 305
2 325
3 330
*not sure if any of these are passable, I don't even really care. Just happy to be squatting in the 300's again.
My being proud of this squat outweighed my tremendous embarrassment about regaining all my weight lost, though I'm still pretty hesitant to share it.
Weighed in at 202.4 FUUUUUUU
bench
1 185
2 190
3 195
*completed all of these. not sure if I paused long enough
deadlift
1 325
2 365x0
3 no 3rd attempt
* I was pretty tired. just ready to be finished.

Hey! Good to hear from you!
I'm doing better. Working on getting my groove back.
.............................
A1) Cuban Press
15x10
10x12
5x12
A2) Trap III Raise
10x12
5x12
5x12
*Trap III raise, done bent over, unilaterally and w/ deliberate scapular retraction at the beginning.
That was a pretty humbling combination but I liked it.
Forgot my notebook. Did reps or 12 instead of 8-10.
B) Squats
225x6
135x12
45x15,5,5
Probably could have gone a little heavier.

Thursday. Took forever to get going.
A1) Cuban Press
15x10, 10, 10
A2) Trap III Raise
5x10, 10, 10
B) Squats:
blew off squats/wrist and elbow pain, low motivation...mostly the low motivation.
Wrist...I banged it pretty good disconnecting the power supply inside
my computer. Those connectors were stuck in tight. Thankful for a
strong grip.
Friday
A) Wide grip Pull downs
3rd down x6
3rd down x12
2nd down x 25
*weight not marked
B ) Seated Dumbbell press
30's x6
15's x12
C) Seated Lateral raises
10's x 25
D) Walking Lunges(didn't do lunges)
I did the squats that I was supposed to do yesterday.
squat warm up: 2xBWx10 split squats, 2x45x8, 2x135x5, 2x185x5
SQUATS
235x6
185x12
95x25 (it burns) paused for a moment at 10 and 20
I kinda like the 6-12-25 stuff.
Sometimes I miss those snatch grip deadlifts.
Other:
Doing good about staying away from bread and gluten stuff. Sugar is
still kinda bad but I've started cutting that back a little.

Congrats on the 330 squat! Looked like you could have done even more!

Blah, blah, blah. More of the same.
Fasted last week. Not fasting this week. Going to California the 23nd.
At the gym
Elliptical 5 min, a few Cuban rotations, a few dislocates...
A1) Cuban Press
15's x10,x10,x10
A2) Trap III Raise
10x10,x10,x10
might be time for the 8's
B ) Squats
squat warm up: 1 set of BW x 12 split squats, a few squat stretches
Squats:
bar x10
My left hip external rotators felt weird and hip flexors still felt tight so I took more time to warm up. Mostly walking around and stretching.
By the time I was warm enough both racks were busy...but I was invited to work in by one of the rack occupants who was doing shrugs. It was the guy I taught how to deadlift a while back and I hardly ever run into him so I did a few shrugs. I did a few deadlifts with him later.
Barbell shrugs:
135x10 bar in front
135x10 bar behind
225x8 front
225x3 behind
Yay...on to squats.
bar x10
135x5
225x6 (felt heavy today)
135x12
bar x 10,10
deadlift
135x10
185x8
Those were a little hard after squats.

Mom insists that I travel with her to see my brother. Just me and Mom, which is cool...but she doesn't expect us to even make it out of the first airport.
Other news...I ran over a sign.
I think it was supposed to look like this...
But I guess the wind blew it over face down and I didn't see it. Shredded a tire. I can't wait to hear what the tow truck guy says.
I am beside myself. I am like the most over cautious granny-drivin' person ever.
But lets end with some good news.
I have home grown tomatoes and as of today eggs as well.Last edited by Ginger575; 08-12-2011 at 07:13 PM.

I worked out with my brother again.
Outside. In the sun and about 95 degrees. Kinda dumb to be out in the heat.
He was running between circuits. I might have if it were cooler. I'm kind of a wuss when it comes to heat combined w/ direct sunlight.
Later was 2 hrs at a water park.
Yesterday was low back endurance. Safety seat + baby(9 lbs)+following baby's mom shopping= me as human baby swing x 1.5 hrs.
Yep. I'm pretty sure I don't want any more kids of my own.
Also, I have the weirdest tan lines ever.
