I'm eating healthier definitely. But I don't think what I ate caused this to be completely honest man. I've always been the healthiest in terms of lifestyle of the 3 kids my family has had. My oncologist is a genius and has a PHD specifically for lymphoma. He honestly believes that I won the lottery for bad luck man. It happens, you win and move on.

I'm going to try and lose weight and drop to the 180s. Just be nice and lean. My heart works a lot harder at 225. If i drop to 180 or so i'll be at a healthy range for my heart especially since one of the drugs in the chemo is known to impact the heart. Another thing I'm going to work on is cardio.

Misc I got a quick but sort of disappointing update for you guys. I went to the dermatologist last thursday to get a wart removed and get a few odd moles checked out. I'm fairly light skinned so I've got a lot of moles. Anyways, I had a mole that got bigger/darker over the last few months (most likely from lymphoma and having immune problems). He checked out a bunch of moles, but when I showed him this one he said they should biopsy this. This mole is 4 millimeters and was on my pinky toe on my left foot....

So I get a call at around 10 in the morning monday, and hear this, doctor's like "I got your biopsy results, you have melanoma.."

I'm just like wtf, seriously, my luck lol.

Theres a link between lymphoma and melanoma, I'm assuming this happened because of my prior diagnosis. Anyhow, he said I'm very lucky, it was very small. Clark level 2, meaning I'm most likely Stage 1. Prognosis wise he said there's no reason I shouldn't be 100% cured. On the internet, survival for Stage one is in the 95-98% range. I just think it's absolutely ridiculous this **** show that's been going on.

I learned to cope and have been really positive, but I feel like I keep getting slapped in the face.

I got a Pre-OP appointment tomorrow to sign some consent forms for the surgery. They're basically going to cut a **** ton of skin and make sure I got clear borders all around under the microscope. That should hopefully be all that is required.

Absolutely ridiculous.

its just a stat they use to figure out your chances of survival. Basically 98% of people who get stage 1 melanoma are alive five years down the line.
