And here we go:
"One of the guys on ESPN said Barrett reminds him of Montana. The way he handles himself in the pocket and ball distribution."
"Hey Buckeye Nation
If CONNOR COOK can lead MSU to a 13-1 season in that one dimensional offense, JT Barrett sure as hell can do the same for us!
We have better athletes and skill positions than they do. and yes our defense will be good enough!
Lets "man up" bucknutters.....We have a lot of hungry guys ready to step up...One game at a time...
DAMN STRAIGHT !!!! I'M WITH YA"
"I'm actually excited. If JT is half as elusive as Brax, we are going to be fine...because he's twice as smart and three times as accurate."

Simulated seasons of FSU, OSU, Oregon, and UCLA with their starter and again with the backup...
http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...rios/14279907/
Now second-stringer and redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett is expected to be Ohio State's starter. Barrett was promoted to Miller's backup on Saturday. Without Miller, Ohio State averages 35.1 points per game, wins 9.2 games on average and finishes second in the Big Ten East behind Michigan State+positive crew+

GO GREEN!
but srsly I am from Ohio too so I like OSU somewhat too, pretty big loss especially after his decision to stay for his senior year, isn't he going to Red Shirt and come back for 2015? with an extra year to learn the system he could come back to be HUGE, a guy that talented with another whole year if he is able to fully heal etc.

And risk coming back and re-injuring the shoulder? Or not even having a spot if Barrett plays well? I'd take the pro money while it's available, and I think he will too.
Regardless, OSU should be fine. The defense will be much improved, the front-4 specifically should be a nightmare for opposing offenses. Barrett will just need to manage the games and minimize the number of big mistakes.

that feelin' when michigan's margin of victory over ohio state this fall went from 7 to 17
dis gon b gud
And honestly good for braxton, playing qb for urban meyer is like being asked to slam your body into a brick wall every 2 of 3 snaps. run the ball take a hit. option the ball, take a hit. get hit, get hit, ok you can throw it ....15 times a game. Oh your joints and ligaments are still in one piece after senior year? Ok go try out for the nfl.
Tebow is big enough to take the punishment, but most kids arent.
