Not sure if anyone is a listener to Michael Savage but he pointed out and listed all the costs from Illegal Inmigration
According to Savage's calculations, the US spends 337 billion every year on illegal immigration (kids in schools, bilingual education, hospitals)
Why are some so called Conservatives so soft when it comes to Illegal Immigration?
You think that given amnesty, they're all of a sudden going to act like Americans? Speak English? Learn our values and culture? Get real.

Yeah, real idiot there.
Take this to the bank: he's a hell of a lot smarter than you and any other member of Congress.
Also, whoever asked what was/is wrong with our healthcare system is a moron.

I think you Ted Cruz fans are missing something about your man that's blindingly obvious to the rest of us. He may be intellectually sharper than his colleagues, but he's politically retarded. None of his fellow senators like him, and the other republicans hate him most of all. He may be bright, but he's never going to accomplish anything because no one wants to work with him.

Doesn't matter what the American people think of the rest of the senate, all that matters is what his fellow senators think of him. He can make a nice splash in the headlines but he can't accomplish anything without them.
Ted Cruz is the smart kid in class who's always raising his hand and giving answers, and thinks that's helping his cause, but when it's time for a group project none of the other kids want to work with him.

Ted is being ridiculous IMO
We had a chance to stop obamacare and we failed. We lost the elections last year. It is realistically over now. We don't have the Senate or the white house.
There are still other important battles Republicans can focus on
If he wanted to be an outspoken real leader, he could filibuster any stop gaps until we have a real budget passed. He could fight for the other cutbacks and changes republicans could still make with comprises.
He is doing silly showmanship for the next election.“A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither. A society that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both.”

I'm not sure Ted Cruz wants to work with his fellow Republicans. What's the point when Republicans get corrupted by the culture in Washington and end up becoming a threat to the principles they are suppose to believe in?
So sit back and observe why billions of dollars and lives are trashed by the effects of Obamacare?

By fighting against Obamacare we will energize the base. If we sit back and do nothing Republicans/Conservatives will not show up for the next election. What's the point if we are just going to go along with the dems when they win a battle. The Republicans need an issue to come together over and a cause to fight for.

We lose 100% of the battles we concede at the outset.
Personally I'm thrilled with what he's doing - unlike the other phonies in the GOP, he's not claiming to do one thing on the campaign trail only to puss out once he gets to Washington. He's doing exactly what he said he would when he ran for office - the reason it's perceived to be so odd is because it's such a rarity.
And who cares that he's disliked by the GOP establishment? That's a badge of honor in my eyes.
And lol at the hard-line leftist buffoon in this thread who called the man with - by far - the highest raw innate intellect in the federal govt an 'idiot.'

There are a bunch of issues the republicans still have to fight for. Fighting a battle we already fought 2 times and lost, and now have no chance of winning isn't going to energize the base. It is going to take energy from battles we can still win, and there are many of those.
We didn't concede at the outset. We fought, and lost. We fought again, failed to communicate, and lost again.“A society that puts equality before freedom will get neither. A society that puts freedom before equality will get a high degree of both.”

We lost a battle, but the fight for liberty and against authoritarian progressive statism is everlasting. If you want to vote for Republicans who wish to surrender to the left, that's on you; as for me (and my family/friends), we'll continue to support and vote for those with the spine and fortitude to fight the left at every availing opportunity.
Look at the left - have they EVER said, "we'll we lost, guess that's that."? No, they fight tooth and nail for every crumb. I want nothing less from my side, and Cruz fits that mold.

Why Republicans are dumbphucks:
1. Most healthcare expenses in the USA stem from smoking and obesity-related illness.
2. The most obese states as well as the those with the highest rates of smoking are all red states.
3. Most of the fat phucks who smoke too much and put a strain on our healthcare system are overwhelmingly from Republican-majority states.
4. Therefore, those that would benefit the MOST from Obamacare would be phat phuck-republicans, not liberals or democrats.
YOU are the reason our healthcare system is so phucked up yet you are against any measures to fix it, even if you would directly benefit from such measures.

My point about Ted Cruz is that he sucks at working with people. Pointing out that Obama sucks at working with people doesn't make my comment about Cruz any less true.
You want to know who's great at sausage-making? Harry Reid. He has all the charisma of a fish but he knows how to get back room deals done. Cruz is all flash and he'll never get deals done, so he's useless to you in practical terms. But that's okay as far as you're concerned because he irritates the establishment politicians you hate. So hey, as long as you want a gadfly who does nothing to advance your agenda, then by all means, Ted Cruz is your man.
