Hiya Matz!
I have been running my first bulk for 21 weeks now and am ready to end it soon. It's been a great ride and I am benching 135 (for reps) which was my main goal. DLing 225 (for reps) wasn't a bad side goal for me either. I hope to maintain for a bit to try and keep that strength then cut from there. Did I mention I really really want to keep my numbers up? That I really like being the only chick in there benching the big wheels? Hyper and NO can surely help a girl out with that. I lift at 4am and can definitely use a little extra help getting my head and body in the game.
And I don't hate the tingles
And I'll be mad at you if you don't pick me.

Hey Matz and BSN!
As a longtime BSN supporter, I have previously used Hyper and NO-Xplode is one of the first preworkouts I have ever tried.
With that being said...I personally look for a lot of energy and endurance in my preworkouts. Often, I have to train either super early before work or after a long day of work. I get an excellent pump naturally so a pump product is not necessarily something I need. Energy without a crash is mandatory when I am looking for a pre workout. Working out before work, I cant workout and then crash. Thank You!
I personally get pumped up by envisioning what I would like to look like as an athlete, not a bodybuilder. I also tend to use anger or excitement as my motivation to dominating my workout.
Thank You!

No P.O. Boxes!!!
I know for myself, I really like a pre-workout that sends the tingles through my body, along with something that I don't have to force down because it's hard to handle the taste! Every week I try and PR, so the extra kick does the trick every time! I also haven't got a chance to try N.O. Xplode or Hyper FX, but I have only heard great things about them. There is nothing like the smell of a good pre-workout when you take the top off of a new tub
When I'm about to work out, I have 2 specific songs that really get me jacked up and ready to push it to the limit every time!!!

What i look for in a Pre workout is something that really gets me going! I like taking my pre at home, then heading to the gym, and feeling that tingly feeling on the way there, it really gets me in the zone. I like a pre workout that gives me energy to want to lift after i work. but not to much where im up all night. Also when im working out I can feel an incredible pump from the pre which really gets me going as well. Overall a pre that will really do the job of giving me energy, and that solid pump in the gym that takes me to another level!! Also something thats not just loaded cafeine.
This guy seems to never fail me on getting pumped before the gym!!

Promo Details:
Please write 2-4 sentences describing what you look for in a pre-workout supplement? The answers with the most thought/detail will be selected.
Also, it's been asked time and time again and never gets old: What gets you hype before training?? Song, Video, etc.. Post it!
There are only a few things I look for in a PWO supp. Beta-Alanine is a must or Citrulline Malate. Both will keep you from fatiguing. Next, I look for Taurine to assist with contractions of the muscles during sets, as heavy training will rob your body quickly of this amino. After that, some BCAA's would be beneficial to prevent tissue breakdown, but if the PWO doesn't have it, it's not the end of the world as my intra-workout supp will be loaded with BCAA's. Aside from ingredients, I look for a PWO to give me clear focus and energy.
What gets me hype before training?
GODSMACK!!!!!

all requirements met....great promo and thanks for the opportunity
Please write 2-4 sentences describing what you look for in a pre-workout supplement?
ive been seriously training for over 10 years now these are the things i expect out of my Pre-WO: 1) clean, smooth, longlasting energy with minimal crash 2) laser-like focus and concentration 3) pumps and vascularity. anything else, including taste, is just a bonus and i can get by without. i dont want or need any fluff...just give me my big 3 and let me get to work!
What gets you hyped before training??
dont need music, dont need videos....just me vs. the weights, may the better man win....thats what gets me hyped.

saved my 10K post for the first BSN promo of the year. Well Matz is well aware how big of a stim junkie I am when it comes to my pre . I always look for something that will get by amped up and make me blow the doors off the gym. With the mix of NOX and Hyper I know this is going to happen.
been on a Flo rida kick lately when it come to my gym playlistLast edited by emergency; 01-24-2013 at 07:02 PM.

Awesome Promo Matzah!!
APPLICATION:

OK well this is a simple question with a simple answer... ENERGY! What I look for in a pre workout it the ability to get energy on a day when I am really not feeling up to the gym. We all have those days where we are just tired, burnt out, and not feeling up for the gym. I want to be assured that when I have days like this I have a fail safe mechanism that gets me going and gets me in the gym!
Also I love a pre that gives me the Beta-Alanine tingles.. Some people hate it but I love it! haha
Also, it's been asked time and time again and never gets old: What gets you hype before training?? Song, Video, etc.. Post it!
I absolutely love this movie and watching this last scene absolutely makes me wanna destroy some weight... EVERY TIME!

What do I look for in a preworkout? Well I want that feeling that PR's are merely just waiting to be hit. All I have to do is grab the weights. Love the feeling I can hit any goal I set for myself. In previous PWO, get the tingles before I start my session. Makes me think I'm prime time for lifting. Just gives me that added boost and motivation to hit it hard. And with my current level of dedication and desire to get in shape further, I need a solid PWO to help with that kick start to each lifting session.
Would be stoked to be selected to do the reviews for NOX 2.0 and HyperFX.

What do I look for in a pre workout supplement
For the most part, Ingredients that are proven to work. Everything out is prop blends with longs list of ingredients you can't pronounce with tons of numbers and ph's in the front mly's in the middle, words so long. I like it simple a list of what your taking and then something that gives you a nice kick and nothing to wild to the point that you feel cracked out
Trying to improve day in and day out.

What I look for in a pre workout? I want a pre workout that is going to give me the pump and focus to let me train to my maximum. I want that drive to get that 1 extra rep in which will lead me to my overall goal, I dont want no BS pre workout that gives you the tingles and leaves you feeling crack out of your mind with stims that you dont need. I just want a solid pre workout that will get the job done with no added BS like I know NOX 2.0 and HYPER FX will do!!
I agree to all the terms and conditions!!
This gets me pump:

great promo from a great company! i always look for an increase level of focus. intensity is never an issue, it's just prolonging it throughout the entire workout. music is always great to get ya going, but i've also recorder a few of ray lewis's sound bites of games and speeches, mel gibson/william wallace's speech in braveheart, and etc to listein during my pre workout routine

The main things i look for in a pre workout are energy, focus and endurance boosting. I need something that isn't going to burn off fast, even though most of my workouts are short they are fast paced and demanding. I want something that can keep my muscles from fatiguing.
I don't really have anything that I need to get pumped for my workout usually the workout planned is enough to get me going. I'm just ready!

In.
Raising my hand for this one. Here's a bit about me, my training, and why I think you guys should select me.
Me
I'm 25 years old, I've been training for a little over 2.5 years.
I'm a competitive powerlifter.
I'm 5'7" and 185 pounds.
Training
I've been following Brandon Lilly's Cube Method for the past few months and I'm getting good results from it.
My layout is as follows (with typical assistance plugged in):
Monday- Deads, block pulls or snatch grip deads for reps, a squat variant, abs, back.
Wed- Bench, secondary pressing movement with a barbell or dumbbells, pushdowns, upper back work
Fri- Squats, squat variant. SLDLs, GMs, abs.
Saturday- Weak point day. I hit overhead pressing, calves, and biceps. Then I'll typically do a few other movements, or push the Prowler.
Current lifts are around 365/235/485
Why you should pick me
I keep detailed logs/reviews when I do them.
I always post videos which, in my experience, make logs a lot more fun to follow. (I know you guys are asking for review, but still)
I've logged a handful of products for BSN before, and feel like I've done a solid job.
I love BSN supplements, and having the opportunity to try more would be awesome.
I'm currently prepping for a meet in mid April, so right now, I'm hitting PRs consistently and training at high intensity. Having a preworkout to kick me up a notch is a HUGE help.
What I look for in a preworkout supplement
Tolerable Taste- it doesn't have to be amazing, but lets face it, no one wants to choke down their preworkout and end up with a sick stomach mid training.
Clear energy/Focus- Another very important factor. I can't stand ruining a training session because I'm overstimmed or just can't focus.
Proper amount of stims- Again. you don't want to have to take 2-3 scoops of your preworkout just to feel something, and you also don't want to be freaking out after just taking 1 scoop
Cost/Benefit ratio- I want a supplement that I feel like is truly worth the money. I'm not going to pay a dollar per serving for a supplement that takes me 3 scoops to achieve the desired effects
Mixability- Not a deal breaker, but I don't want a clumpy drink
Shelf life- I can't count the number of supplements I've had, that I've kept for a little over a month, and they turned to bricks. Some people only train a couple times per week and don't always take their pre's and are going to want to be able to store these for a while.
Here's my workokut from yesterday so you can see what my vids typically look like, nothing fantastic but I like to see my form on lifts and be able to show what my training looks like:
Good luck to everyone that has applied. I've had the chance to try quite a few BSN products and have never been disappointed. I'm looking forward to trying some different flavors and finding the one I like the most.
What gets me hyped
I train at home, so I just have to be able to flip the switch and be ready to go sometimes.
Having a passion for training, and meeting my goals, is one of the greatest motivators for me.
There are days when I absolutely feel like crap, and the last thing I want to do is go downstairs and squat for an hour, but I do it. People always make excuses to not put in the work to achieve their goals, and think everything is going to be handed to them. I've had to fight for every pound I've put on my lifts. My bench stalled a year ago when I had a shoulder injury, and I spent countless hours doing tedious rehab work. I hated every minute of it, but I realized that the boring stuff would eventually take me to my goal. People just need to be hyped at the fact that they're able to train. Something will always hurt, and it will always be easier to skip a training session.
Despite injuries (including falling down a flight of stairs and taking staples in my head), home improvements, having a second baby this year, having partners that don't show up for training, and working 40 hours per week, I have missed maybe one workout all year. I'm constantly hyped up for training because I love it.
That being said, on those days when work or life have gotten the best of me, and I'm thinking it would be easier to walk back upstairs and play Xbox, I sip on a preworkout and turn on a video like this to remind me why I do this:
