Jeezus, nice training up in here! You got some strong pullups insane bench progression.
Delts & lats play a HUGE part in benching That's why strengthening your assistance exercises aids in the compounds BIG time.

Get my chest from 40" to 42".
Get my cleans to 185, powercleans pretty similar. I wanna start doing snatches soon, I think Olympic lifts are essential for me, because I'm not a naturally explosive athlete. I played tennis for 10 years, and coached for one, but now I play ultimate for my uni. So I think I'll add in box squats and more front squats for my vertical leap, and so hopefully get my front squats to 185 or maybe 205 before Christmas. Oh, and get massive pull ups. 20 dead hang here I come

Damn, that syndrome must suck. I feel terrible right now because my lower back is bugging me and I doubt I'll be able to pull Friday, but you having that same pain day in and day out must stink :/
Yeah, you all gotta learn to love rows & pullups. Try out the lat pulldown dropset *thing* that Ddon1996 and I did the other day.... 3-5 minutes of tortureLast edited by baco_bacon; 07-20-2011 at 03:38 PM.

Ok so I'm pretty sure my friends are buying me some sort of garage gym equipment. I'm hoping to get an Olympic set, probs just bar +100kg of weight, worry about bench and squat rack later. I would still be able to do:
Deadlifts
Military
Front squats
Cleans
Bent over rows
Upright rows
You get the gist. Squat rack would be better than a bench, I'd just do weighted dips instead, which let's you get a full ROM anyways.

Ok so I had a pretty massive day today. I had an interview for a PR rep position at a media affairs company at 9am, wasgood. Then I got home and my friends and fiancee surprised me with a garage gym for my 21st:
So I now have an olympic bar, a sweet adjustable bench, a squat rack with dip handles, and 205lb of weight!I'm aware I'm a wolf
