being on BB forum I will probably get crucified for saying this but being smaller, fitter and healthier far out weights the benefits of being 260+lbs of muscle.

I really do question bodybuilding outside of being a pro as just being ppl with self image issues and it does more harm then good compared to other types of training.

when my dad was still alive he was huge. i remember when we used to go out people would sometimes literately stop and stare at him for a second or two. one time grocery shopping we passed some high school kids going down one of the isles, when they were a good ways behind us one of the yelled "freak" and my dad just grinned lol. i'v always wanted to look like him and look like THAT. plus growing up reading comics seeing super heroes physiques helped too.

no, not while he was huge. the last few years of his life he battled with cancer and he shrunk TONES (was really scary). him and my mom divorced about 4 years before he developed cancer so the rest of his pics are at his wife's house. this is the only pic i have of him taken 2 years before he passed. and yes unfortunately he developed kind of a gut :/

That's cool man, it's great you have those kind of memories of your dad.

I'm the biggest in my family and in all my extended family. I love that my big brothers have to look up at me to look me in the eyes :P hahaha
