Not saying to blindly go for the Tundra, but it definitely deserves a test drive. They also don't fudge with their MPG and tow rating capacities...and done up including lift kit, they look badass but in a graceful way. Made in Detroit with the price tag to show for it...and a bit more expensive compared to others.

Ford is pretty good too. FX4 ecoboost or FX4 V8, however the ecoboost is a bit of a compromise as far as reliability and fuel mileage claims go. Whereas the 5.0L V8 is a solid choice. F350 super duty with the turbo diesel Powerstroke is one fast as balls truck. 6.7L or something.
I would love the F250 6.7 but I'm sure insurance would kill me!

I'd look into a CNG F-150. It's an interesting idea but maybe not worth it.

They're both great trucks. My only reason for choosing dodge is a Ford left me stranded.

Agreed. My 07 Cummins costs less to insure than my 07 Scion TC.

Edit: I'm a chevy guy, but new GM's blow
Why do you say the new GMs blow? I've heard the new 5.3L V8 runs great plus everything else has been redesigned.

2011 Ram 1500 hemi crew cab owner checking in. all i can say is i've owned it since i bought it new and i've never had a problem, i still enjoy driving it to this day, it delivers with power and speed and comfort. basically i'm just vouching for it, don't listen to these idiot brand-homers who just say "xyz company sucks because i bought the other one"

i'm not here to tell you the ford is no good, i'm just saying i can actually vouch for the '11 ram and i'm very happy with it, so take that for what it's worth.

i'm not here to tell you the ford is no good, i'm just saying i can actually vouch for the '11 ram and i'm very happy with it, so take that for what it's worth.
I drove a 2010 ram not to long ago and it had the most solid front end I have ever felt on a ram...I tried to buy it but didn't have enough money. It's a really hard choice between the two

Out of the two I would definitely go with the F-150.

But then again I like diesels and in my opinion you can't beat a NBS Duramax, especially once you've put on the aftermarket bells and whistles. (See sig)
