So, what amazes me in this product is that this has viagra-like effects.
375 mg of White Willow Bark, Bombyx Mori L, Ginger Root, Codyceps Extract, Horny Goat Weed, Oyster Extract, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Vinpocentine, 2DG, Saffron Crocus, Wolfberry. So they say...
Obviously, the effects this supplement has (the wanted effects and the side effects) are clearly caused by PDE-5 inhibition. Horny Goat Weed (actually, icariin, the active substance in HGW) does that, but not to the extent HPSS does. We would need a huge ammount of icariin to achieve that.
If you combine arginine with icariin (which I suggest you don't do), you'll have stronger and mainly longer lasting erections, but that's possibly a dangerous combination.
Viagra, Cialis and Levitra should not be combined with NO drugs (like those used by people with coronary heart disease). Obviously, combining these drugs is a LOT different than combining icariin with arginine (because in this last case the doses used are much less significant).
So, as I said, Higher Power Sexual Surge acts exactly like Cialis/Levitra/Viagra (including the exact same kind of wanted effects, side effects, duration and mechanism of action).
In my humble opinion, HPSS is either laced with a compound similar to Sildenafil OR one of its substances (besides HGW) has a strong PDE-5 inhibitor action (HGW is not enough at that low dosage). Problem is, none of the ingredients has been connected with PDE-5 inhibition thus far (except for HGW). In fact, the list of ingredients is quite ridiculous (it doesn't have any of those substances that are known to have potential sexual benefits, like Maca, Damiana, Muira Puama, Arginine and Ornithine, Ginseng, Gingko Biloba, Avena Sativa, Tribulus Terrestris, Eurycoma Longifolia... HGW is the exception). Well, perhaps some of the ingredients in the product contain arginine, it is possible (but it would be at low dosage).
I would like to "hear" what Higher Power representatives have to say about this. I've done a search and I haven't found out what I want to know.
