Possum are ugly and creepy but beneficial. Disease free, eat bugs, snakes, rodents, and clean up dead coon.

I'd have guessed possums were a rabies hazard. We don't have them around my area, so I'd never looked into it. I looked it up after you posted and I see they are very low risk actually. Learned something new.
