Sometimes i wonder if the "performance" of some thing is nothing but a more beastly sprayer (broscience I'm sure). But look at Sauvage. Everyone knows that sprayer puts out a metric shi+ ton of product and a lot of people, complain sometimes about how it can be overpowering. Are they just beastly "performers" because you get all that extra product? Same with aventus....

I like the EDP more though. It's a more pleasing and tolerable scent.

The only Sauvage edt I've ever owned were the 1ml sample sprayers and still with those things using 2 sprays I'd be looking for some ibuprofen. Funny you say that, I don't know about the edt but the edp has the same type of sprayer and magnetic cap just like BdC and even smells vaguely similar to BdC in my opinion.

If I didn't like anything about the edp it would be that it's a little underwhelming. Even with it's generous output you could go ape sht with it and it's still so subtle you'd be reapplying in a couple hours, completely the opposite of the edt. Perhaps it's just because I started using it, I've had that same performance issue with just about everything I own that I once complained about longevity and projection. After a good dozen applications the weak ones now last all day and project the whole time.

Interesting. Ill see how this goes. I'm at almost 4.5 hours and I'm still definitely getting the scent still. I also am super sensitive to the scents as well. I basically spray nothing on my chest, and keep it to behind/under the ears on the neck and back of neck. Chest only goes when I'm going out and it's a single spray, usually very low.

I'm usually in agreement with you on most fragrances you list in here but you're flat out wrong on Sauvage edt. It's the most offensive, generic smelling basic ass fragrance on the market. It's like the parfum oil machine broke down on the assembly line and Dior unknowingly put out just the chemical portion of the fragrance. Sauvage edt makes Voyage smell like a Creed or Tom Ford.

The edp on the other hand is one of the nicest <$100 designer fragrances out there.

Or evening. I had worn it probably 5-6 times before i tried Dylan Blue. And when i tried Dylan blue (didn't know what the profile was at all or looked it up) it immediately reminded me of PRI, but a weaker, less potent version.

Dylan-Blue is soapy, fresh and seems really nice to the nose. But the performance is a problem.

But, with the potency of Sauvage, 2-3 sprays is it. And unless youre wearing it daily, that 2oz bottle will last you forever.
