lol @ the depth nazi.
#1 is definitely something to work on. I've been bad about it and it seems like a lot of people will "dance" after the walkout.
That being said, strong doubles. The lean looks like it's slowly getting better.

I'm feeling much better about "The Lean." Don't get me wrong, it's going to be a work in progress for a bit, but at least now after 10 weeks of work, my warm up sets leading up to my working sets are almost lean free. I hit 325 X 1 just before my first working set and it only had the slightlest hint of a lean forward so hopefully that means I'm getting better as I move forward.

To me, the squats look very, very much improved on the way down. About 2-3" out of the hole is where **** goes poo poo. Keep that upper back and core tight. Losing a good bit of leg power there through inefficient transfer.
Several cues you can use whether it be bending the bar on your back, elbows under, flare lats, etc. Find one that works and stick with it. Leg strength is definitely there though.
As for Austin's #1....yes, but it is tough when trying to correct a form issue. Rather see a bit more time taken to ensure you keep the setup the same and sacrifice some lbs on the bar then having an inefficient setup and not feeling the right movement. It is something to correct....but I would not really focus on that now.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

That's one (of the many) things I've been trying to work on is my pace into the hole. I do feel like (and it's pretty obvious) that I'm losing that upper back tightness on the way up
I think I do a little bit better with set up when it's just sleeves as I'm trying to get used to squatting with wraps. This is also another working point for me that Wade has addressed.
I have one more week of 3 X 2 and then the next 5 weeks are singles from 3 X 1 all the way to 1 X 1 to finish out this 16 week squat cycle. My goal is to improve SOMETHING each weekBetter Body Sports

Nice squatting NC. Depth looked good to me but it's always hard to really tell depending on the angle.

I understand both of these cases and agree that the less time spent under the bar, the better. Where I disagree is where this should be a focal point. I mean, when several form changes are occurring, take the time to ensure the change becomes permanent, then focus on expediting setup. If you don't have your setup point known and ingrained as second nature, how can you perfect getting to it.
I know that the reverse can be argued as well, but my point is you can only focus on fixing one thing at a time. If you try a complete overhaul, you had best be very in tune with you body or be prepared to not make any progress. In my eye, more progress can be made by focusing on core stability and upper back tightness than can be made by setting up in a more expeditious fashion. Thus my statement earlier.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

I've written about this subject specifically back in the Powermag days. We've also covered it more than once on the Round table show on SHR. I think the set up is part of the issue that causes some of the other form issues. They are still there but, improving. If the start is off, chances are more than good, issues will follow.
