I check this thread every few months, you are doing amazing work man
As a guy a few posts above said, you've put all the lazy people who claim it's "impossible" to lose weight with just a good diet and exercise to shame
Your journey is ridiculously inspiring, also goes to show that although misc can be filled with haters and trolls, there are still great people here, and it can still act as a massive source of help and positive energy
Keep going man, you have given yourself a new life now, and I wish you the very best with it***Irish Misc Crew***

you're still my hero.
Now that things are getting closer-
what is going to be the hardest thing to do when you reach your goal weight? Do you feel like you'll put the weight back on because You'll return to your old eating habits, or do you feel like you have it under control?
I found that whilst cutting, I developed almost an eating disorder, as I didn't want to eat too much, or even too little, and I obsessed about it.

I feel like I have a system down that allows the inevitable screw ups and adapts to them. I realize that at times I am going to make poor decisions and nutritionally do things that I regret and feel shame for, but I certainly feel like I am able to get it under control quickly and get back on track. I can't ever imagine a scenario where I would just return to the way I was. Not because I am somehow above it but because I will always have to answer to you all at some point. I would never be able to get away with it.

This Wetty. We've seen you come in here on the rare day that you've had a little too much (and often you're still under maintenance lol) only to get right back at it the following days/weeks. I have zero worries about you treating yourself cause we've seen you bounce right back.

Did you see this new item from Little Caesars wetty? A bacon wrapped Deep Dish pizza. Luckily I'm also cutting weight right now and will not give it a try, but I'd love to absolutely destroy one of those.

It's definitely going to come off slower for you. I'm actually cutting right now, and current weight is about 280. I would like to get down to 250 by Summer, which is about 10 pounds per month. It seems like it should be easy, but in reality it requires a lot of focus and determination. Luckily, Winter should break within the next 30-45 days, so there will be more exercise options then.

They said it's Hot and Ready for $12. So basically the 3.5 feet of bacon around it and the bacon piled on as a topping adds $4 to the cost of a regular deep dish large.
I'll give it a try at some point, but it will probably be as a reward sometime this Summer. I haven't eaten pizza in almost two months, and not about to mess it up now.

I really need to check this thread more often. Outstanding. Simply outstanding. Jesus! 312 seems like a small number compared to what you were. How are you feeling? You may have addressed these questions already. How do you feel physically, mentally, emotionally, since dropping all that weight? You are fukking making it!

Hey Jesse, hope you're doing well today and having a good day! I will be using myfitnesspal again soon and will also check out that NikeFuel app for my walking and jogging sessions, thanks for awaring me on it.
By the way, I sent some responses, so check your PM.
Gonna go finish my training for the day, gotta go hard!

First ever post and I've spent the last 3 weeks reading every page of all of the previous threads. First off mad respect, for a man who originally came on here drunk to do a little bit of trolling about being fat to turn into what this has become is immense.
Its reflected magnificently on everyone who has and continues to contribute to this thread, the effort people who have gone to in supporting a person who genuinely is trying to lose weigh is outstanding.
I personally have loved the various ways brahs have described Wet Breasts in each of their posts (some quality ones) but obviously the utmost respect goes to WB, no one will beat your achievements and they have purely been achieved by your mindset brah, a thing of true power.
Congrats and peace out.

yes, once it gets down to lower weights I think my practice with nutritional discipline will help. I have found that there comes a point of diminishing returns with the fitness increases, but nutritional discipline always seems to bring the results. So my tip for our goals? Less looking at pictures of bacon wrapped pizza's, lol.
thanks man, never thought id be so proud to be called an animal
you never know when one of them may surprise you. I think my dr was a bit skeptical of my story when I first came in, but now every time I see him he raves about how fast the numbers on his scale are going down. It just takes some longer than others to have the health thing 'click'
welcome to the misc and thanks
honored you picked this thread for your first post, thank you
cant wait
I feel better certainly, lots more energy, enjoying the way structured activities have replaced much of my 'on ass in front of my pc' time. Mentally I still haven't changed as much as id like. I still have the morbidly obese mind I guess you could say, in the sense that I still haven't reached the confidence threshold I imagined I would hit when I lost this much weight. I have heard many times its a common problem though, so I don't worry too much about it.(392.4 lbs pounds lost so far)
