I did try floor presses for the first time tonight which was fun.

Legs are still sore from Monday, but still got my run in this morning. 2.5 miles at a pace of 8 mins per mile. Ive never been a runner so thats not bad for me. My goal is to hold that pace for 5 miles by August. I think that should have me in pretty good shape to run the Dash.

Anyways hoping the bio gro helps out with recovery because I need all the help I can get..lol

    Have a good night everyone

Also I ran 2.5 miles this am with an 8min per mile pace.. which is on track for where I want to be in august for the Warrior

    Have a great night everyone
8 min pace is damn good in my book...I was always that kid in school who ran 14 min mike times, lol.

Going back a year, what would you say your deads were at? I know I need A LOT of work for my deads...one day at a time though.

The movement is similar to what I was imagining, but just not as deep. I suppose if you keep it light, keep the bar close to the back of your head and avoid bringing your shoulders below 90 degrees of abduction, you may be ok.

Correct. It's a lot less pressure as long as you aren't going too low. Thank you again for your thoughts.

Your damn close so this summer shouldn't be a problem. Since I haven't done anything under 8 reps in a long time, and am only on my 2nd week of my "power cycle" it will be interesting what I can actually pull now.

    Good luck on 500

Thank you my friend! Once you drop down those reps I'm sure you'll get into the swing of it and lift it easy. I always have light weeks then heavy. week 1: 12-15 reps.... Week 2:9-11 reps..... Week 3: 6-11 reps......... week 4: 3-5 reps.... THEN REPEAT

I just figured I would point out that so far.. DOMS has been minimal while supplementing with Bio-Gro. I SMASHED my chest and back the other day and I didn't get more than a little soreness in the pecs and VERY little soreness in the lats... Normally after 2 or 3 days it hurts to lift my arms from a chest day..

I feel with increased wanting of throwing up weight brings more people losing form. Not all but some.

Glad to see a less DOMS report. I too am experiencing the same. Took my first nightly serving last night, im used to taking my second serving late afternoon
Yea, my comment is assuming proper form is being used. Lift smart, lift hard. In that order.

-Using or not using is a personal decision people make and I do not care either way if they are or are not. Only time I tend to care is if the person using is young, or not knowledgeable. I have met extremely intelligent natural pro's and extremely intelligent NPC/IFBB pro's, as well as the opposite for both. The bottom line is they do not make or break you. They will take you to the next level, but when guys talk about IFBB pros and say "oh he is that big because he uses steroids" while true, there are thousands of other guys trying to get on that level but don't have what it takes be it nutrition, work ethic, genetics, ect.

-I am not altering my diet too much. I added 10g of protein per day just for good measure, but as mentioned before Bio-Gro won't turn all those calories into muscle. No supplement would do that. My recommendation is use BG almost as more of a recomp agent and consume a similar amount of calories in hopes of gaining a bit of size and losing a bit of fat.

Sometimes use these as a finisher for shoulders. Highly recommend.

well I tried once again with a protein shake.
last time I premixed the shake, then mixed again with the bio-gro and got some clumps, which I used a spoon to scoop out and eat.
I know it's good schtuff from the ingredients so It's worth it and I didnt want any to go to waste

this time I mixed powdered protein with powedered biogro....THEN added liquid (i used milk tonight)
still a few clumps but not as bad.
Like I said, I'm going for effectiveness of the product, so small clumps in my protein powder really doesn't matter to me.

I eat sludge 2 times a day, and have noticed no difference when I mix bio-gro with my morning sludge, so I'll probably stick with that and then just do the second dose during my mid afternoon sludge.

i plan on buying some more greek yogurt tomorrow, which i Usually mix granola and a bit of protein powder with, so I will test that out as well and report back.

tomorrow is high volume squats, possibly doing german volume training 10x10, haven't decided yet.
Lift hard. Sleep later. No excuses!

Good Morning EVERYONE!!! So I am was back at it yesterday with BIO-GRO and killed my workouts. I don't what it is, but I have been noticing so much energy the last couple days. Anyway yesterday I did some shoulders and felt a great delt pump. What I achieved was this:

*Down the Rack & Back DB Presses 15,12,10,8,6,8,10,12,15**I use my first 15 as my Warm up:
    15X30,12X40,10X45,8X55,6X60,15X55(Took4 sets), 12X50, 10X40,8X30, 6X25*****CRUSHED after this!!
*Rear Delt Flys using Fly Machine*
4 sets of 20 increasing the weight with each set: 20X40,20X50,20X55,20X60**I was burning after these for sure. The last two sets I did in two sets with a 5 second rest after finishing the first 10 reps
    *DB Shrugs
5 sets of 20,15,12,12,10 increasing the weight with each set and focusing on squeezing at the top and slowly brings the traps back down.
    60,70,75,80,85
    *Upright cable Row
    4 Sets of 15 using 90,100,110,120
*SUPERSET DB Front Raise & Lateral Raise***I normally do this earlier in the workout and a tad heavier weight but I was already feeling the soreness.
    4 sets of 15,12,10,8 using 20,25,27.5, 30

After my workout I downed my hydrobuilder with two scoops of Bio-Gro and again NO ISSUES!!! Later on in the evening I went back to the gym to teach a few HIIT classes and while there I was sipping on my Restoraid with Bio-Gro! Great tasting supplement you got there iSatori. Looking forward to getting some more updates in the next few days. Sorry I didn't post last night I was getting my teaching portfolio all finished for the next few weeks since I am applying to schools now. Thank you for reading and STAY FIT!

    Bio-Gro Thoughts:
Its been 4 days using Bio-Gro and I can honestly tell a difference! I feel like I have recovered faster and I feel like I am leaning out (slightly) without losing weight. Weighed in at 193 at the gym today with visible abs (probably 10-11% BF right now). My strength has been up aside from monday which was my first day of use plus I had just finished along weekend without much sleep. Excited for the next 11 days!

Sounds like improved muscle recovery is a common theme. That's AWESOME! It's enabled me train harder and still maintain muscle mass. Mentally, it takes a while to become accustomed to the scale barely moving. I have to admit, I still struggle with that one. Maybe it's a female thing - Ha!

    Solid workouts guys!
