so as most of you know i interviewed for 3 diff positions over the past few weeks. I feel that I am still the front runner for one of them. pretty sure that im about to get an offer from another.

I didnt get the 3rd one, however the other VP that was in the interview called me just now and said, while the other position might not have been a great fit, he wants me to join his team. he felt that I have superb people skills, a great mix of technical ability, and insurance expeirence. He wants me to join his team as a freaking DIRECTOR.

he told me to read over the job description and if i like it, then he can have me an informal offer by the end of the day. he also said that he saw my salary requirement and can easily beat it. this is a crazy large company too, so im in shock.

We would just wait outside the school for them to come out and start fighting. Mon-Wed the smaller guy lost every time , until Thursday something happened and he kicked the big kids ass. Then Friday after school the small kid went back to getting his ass kicked. They must have really been pissed at each other lol

yeah I really dont think that I have a choice. it's an opportunity that I have to explore. i dont want one of those "what if" kinda deals to happen. not only that but i have student loans and a few other things. A pay raise would really help me eliminate my debt. right now im kinda stagnant in that regard.

outside of student loans, i have about $6k of debt left. landing this would help me wipe that out pretty fast i think

i really hope i can excel at this because opportunities like this dont come along often. i just hope that they have great training. im going to have to learn a crapload about the operations and the proprietary technology

yeah he told me that if i want it that he will have an offer letter ready to go. It seems like he is dead serious. I guess from that 2.5 hour interview before, he has heard enough. I have been at this thing for the past year trying to figure out where I belong. I may have finally figured that out. possibly. of course we are still in the pre offer phase, so i have to wait and see how it goes down. I want to be leaf
