Fell asleep when the game was still 1-1 last night, just barely missed the Ward goal. Got dam NHL delaying the opening puck drop for the west coast games until 11est... at least tomorrow nights game starts at a reasonable time... or is scheduled too

And on that note id also like to complain about the NHL starting weekend playoff games at like 2est. Who the **** wants to watch playoff hockey in the afternoon? **** NBC and theyre stupid ass playoff schedule. Its worse during the later rounds when its the only game of the day but still. Find a new partner if they want to continue this ****.

On a more positive note, im hoping the Jets win the Mathews lottery. I like the whole, Phoenix stole our franchise so we stole their only hockey player storyline TBH. Plus, its not the Oilers.

Marleau has to step his game up though, hes playing the weakest competition of any top 9 forward, and hes done **** all this playoffs not on the powerplay. The Thornton line cannot do everything. The Couture line at least showed up last night, but Marleaus got to do something.

Eh. I follow American junior hockey extremely closely and am tight within the scouting community, Matthews is going to be a player. I prefer Eichel to him in terms of "complete package", but Matthews has better raw tools. Laine to me is going to be a nice winger, so it sort of depends what you want. A strong two-way center is harder and more valuable than a high scoring winger.

nbc gives 0 fuks about anything but money

how many years now and they haven't figured out how to schedule the games on proper channels without overlap

Apparently more ppl want to watch in the afternoon than in the evening. If they could get better ratings in the evening than in the afternoon then they wouldnt have the game in the afternoon.

Not nessacerily, if what they have scheduled for later is going to attract more viewers than the NHL game, they're going to give that show priority.

Hence the NHL should find a new network to partner with

Penalties every 90 seconds. There's been about 8 minutes of 5 on 5. Sucks all the momentum from the game.
