Lolololololol.
Thats pretty sweet you got to sit there and smoke that old of a cigar. How was an HdM that was that old? I assume the legs were completely gone but the creaminess had to be amazing.
Last night went out after golfing and smoked a 2008 Cohiba robusto. It was good for the first half, the next 1/4 was just ok, and then it was bitter. I dont think I roasted it because I wasnt drinking and we were relaxing on a patio. Just think it needs even more time. Yet to have a CoRo really blow me away. Really moving towards longer and skinnier cigars. I have a 2005 Cohiba Lancero in the dry box. Expecting it to be amazing.

Saw Man of Steel (9/10.. i really liked it, kind of a deeper story than earlier ones.. cinematography was awesome but also a little over the top), then hit the driving range, came home and filled up my humidor(s) with a 40 cigar sampler (on left, came w/ 5 of each one)
think I'm stocked for a while lulz"We Spartans are said to be descended from Hercules himself. Taught never to retreat, never to surrender. Smoking a padron 1926 series (#2) after reading its perhaps one of the finest cigars out there. I don't like spending 17 on a single stick but holyyyyyyy hnnnnnnnng

I typically don't order boxes or in bulk since I just have a tiny humidor that fits like 5 at a time lol.. I typically do my buying at total wine and more.. They have a pretty big selection and prices on most basic cigars (punches, Cohiba, etc..) aren't too far off. But yeah. I did goof.
It's seriously such a good cigar.. You ever have one? Although I doubt I'd spend 17 on it again.

Yea I enjoyed them a lot but I managed to smoke one after a Partagas d-4 and it fell seriously flat so I haven't grabbed one out of the humidor since. You don't need to order bulk just hit up atlanticcigar.com and you will save money vs. buying them at total wine and more.

I'm no expert but it sounds like the wood has soaked in the moisture, you should be good to bring down the RH to 65% before putting your cigars in

smoked this Partagas black label Saturday.
I've had it in my humidor since November of last year just waiting for the right time to smoke it. I'm not a big Partagas fan but, was really looking forward to trying this one out and was not disappointed. Really great cigar! You will be missed Hector_Blunts
