5 reps with 5lbs under my best bench from my previous meet today. Getting really excited for bench now, hope to bench 20lbs more than last meet.

Someone commented on Eric L's video saying he might be the strongest in the country, then he replied "My raw total without wraps is higher than anyone's raw total with wraps in the entire country." Blew my mind that I never even thought about this. With all the bullshiit trashy things that have come out of their team, there's still no one in North America that even comes close to him with wraps. And without wraps there's no one in the world that can touch him.

I sometimes have an issue with how I get out of the hole. I don't always raise my shoulders with my hips. Bar then pitches forward.
I have realized a lot of it I'm sure is coming from the setup. Somedays I can unrack 495 and don't feel a thing. Then unrack 465 and it feels like a tank. The days I failed it was on those "heavier" days.

Cheater squat training, heaviest I've ever gone in the suit. Really need to stop being cheap and get more metal plates.

If it feels heavy as fuk then don't push it. If it feels light then take it. Missing reps and inconsistent setup is a quick way to stagnation.
Also- quads, abs, glutes. Train those all directly and often.
She's getting there, couple inches maybe. Have you gone straps up at all yet? Usually if the straps are a bit loose it makes it easier to handle, so long as the legs and hips are nice and tight. Also I've found that having the belt higher in the front prevents it from binding up and makes it easier to get down.
Personally I don't like straps down training, feels fuked up, I just do heavy raw+ cheater wraps and then go full suit straps up as the time comes.Last edited by 308smk; 03-28-2016 at 10:02 PM.

Thanks for the pointers. Definetly a lesson for me to learn. It hasn't been a lot but i do admit, when I miss a high end squat it takes a couple weeks to recover.
Once this meet is over with I have to get surgery which will take me out of lifting for a month. I do need to make unracking a priority and actually stick to putting the bar back if I unrack/walkout improperly.
