Ran a warrior dash this weekend, and it was cake. I was doing it for fun and hung back with friends, so it was really easy. I don't think I was winded more than once.
Now, since I'm stoked and ready for another one, I'm thinking about a tough mudder. 10-12 miles is a lot more than 3, but I've got 8 months to skank and go nuts with training....

I did the warrior dash without an issue. I'm looking at the Tough Mudder in June.

ive done the merrell down and dirty twice now (6 miles) and it was easy because the obstacles take your mind off the running lol. The tough mudder is definitely something i want to do but i dont have the time to train every day for it along with lifting and studies. i say go for it. everyone i know whos done it were not in crazy shape. they say the obstacles get backed up so you have breaks

I'm at the 98% threshold at this point.
Usually it's work that has all my time. If the billing goes well tomorrow/Thursday, I'll be in a MUCH better place after implementing our new PSA and should be able to breath a bit better and free up on some time.
I want to do it, but I can't half-ass this.Your freedom to be you includes my freedom to be free from you. -AW

Very interesting reading.Bravery and stupidity are often synonymous. So are cowardice and intelligence.
